Reviewed By LailaFreddyThough outside Main Sonmarg, about a half hour and a couple of thousand feet lower, it is really worth staying here. Like any other hotel (anywhere in the world) there are disciplines of time and effort, and the staff or owners cannot be stretched beyond this for a guest's whimsy. Tucked away, near a stream, off the highway, the hotel is, at present a stand alone property, owned and lovingly managed by brothers, Mohammed and Zarhoor Siah. Both individuals share duties, times and hospitality equally, and run a really good establishment....it was so good to see they had ladies on their staff as well! The room was large, and well appointed, the bathroom, the same....both well maintained and clean. The housekeeping staff ensured that1 The breakfast was the stumbling block as usual in every Kashmiri hotel - they are handicapped in that Kashmiris do not eat a cooked breakfast - but they were only too willing to serve me (Bakery)... Bhakarkhani, Chott and Kashmiri Kulcha - when I requested - Kudos sirs. And the free-flowing Kewah warmed the cockles of my stomach.

Reviewed By Shilpa JVery stinky rooms, bathroom drain is open. Room is very small and does not have view. Staff is inconsiderate. We didn't continue our stay and checked out immediately. It is overpriced with the facilities they provide. It was raining when we checked in and they provided umbrella to walk us to our block.

Reviewed By askhan_2015This hotel is located right in front of tourist spot in Sonmarg.Very beautiful mountain view from hotel rooms.When we reached there, there was snow all around.Good room with good heating arrangement, hot water arrangement. Good staff and good food.Over all a good place to stay .
