Casa Oliva is a Hotel, Residence, Restaurant, Wellness Center, “Albergo diffuso” in Pesaro Urbino. The property is immersed in the green countryside of the Marche region and caressed by the Metauro river and is an ideal place to spend a relaxing and comfortable stay or a romantic honeymoon. The entire structure hosts 25 units, divided between rooms, junior suites and apartments. A delicate elegance, refined, never excessive. Among the Hotels in the Province of Pesaro Urbino, Casa Oliva stands out for its location. Casa Oliva is located in the medieval village of Bargni, very close to the Adriatic Sea and at the gates of Montefeltro. Casa Oliva can also be considered an “albergo diffuso” because its rooms are distributed in existing converted buildings in historic centres with a central reception area with cafe and food available. It is perfect for intimate and fascinating holidays or to celebrate your Wedding Day.
Dog friendly and absolutely excellent value
Reviewed By nickychriswith a charming owner, plain but comfortable rooms and a straightforward and reasonably priced menu and wine-list. What is there not to like? Small tip - we drove a rather large car into the square and I wished I had not - there is shaded parking immediately below the hotel (accessed by steps) which you can find by turning right before the buildings. Much easier. I'd like to think we may stay here again

Basic accommodation with extortionate charges for pets
Reviewed By LondonsenseWhen we arrived at this hotel with our dog (a Maltese, which is a small breed of dog, weighing just 3 kilos to give you a sense), we were told that there would be an additional charge. This is stated in their conditions (“Charges may be applicable”). But you can imagine our astonishment when we were told the additional charge would be €25 per day!!! We objected right away, since this was 50% of the charge for the room, and the same charge would apply to an extra adult in the room, which comes with an extra bed and all remaining paraphernalia. We were told that based on their past experiences, they were being cautious since dogs can cause a lot of damage. We asked them to come and inspect the room the next morning for any damage, and offered to pay right away if there was any, even if the cost of the reparations would be above €25. They were unmovable, and since it was late and we were attending an event in the area, we had no other choice but agree. Unfortunately they also stated that “WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.” This was clearly a lie: the owner candidly told us that given their remote location, they cannot get any provider to offer decent coverage. This caused great inconvenience to us, since we were supposed to work on a key project and had to leave early the next day to try to find coverage. We expressed our dissatisfaction and suggested to the owner they remove the pet additional charge to compensate us for the lack of WiFi (and no damage was actually caused), but she was not willing to make an exception. I can see the same treatment being reserved to other dog owners, given the abundance of dog excrement in the tiny garden. The rooms are basic but with nice views. The breakfast is abundant but of lower than average quality for Italy. We booked via booking.com but never received a response to our complaint, so know what you are getting yourself into when booking through them.

a missed opportunity
Reviewed By AL273The location is nice, as is the swimming pool. The rooms are located in an older and dated building; they are clean, big enough but average. The food was (very) poor for Italian standards. With a bit of fantasy, eye for details and love for cooking Al Mandorlo could be a very nice agri-turismo. Lack of personal attention, the cheapish plastic furniture outside as well as charging €1 for a 2nd cup of espresso during breakfast give you the feeling it's only about the money.
