Nice hotel but the service could be better
Reviewed By Juha RStayed here for a couple of nights. The room was cozy and nice and the building beautiful. However it was challenging to find the hotel with a rental car. It is located on a super narrow street. Parking for the car was quite poor, parking was located uphill and was tiny. Not suitable for a larger family car. Our room had an extra bed which was not good - very narrow (60cm?) and not comfy at all. Some of the staff was not very friendly, and should improve customer service- could have greeted more nicely etc. Also some staff members lacked English skills totally. The breakfast was ok but many foods offered always ran out (eg. scrambled eggs and bacon). The sounds from the courtyard and streets were not well blocked by the door or the window. The room was very hot if the ac wasn’t on. The key card to our room was not working well and on the last day it took around 20 minutes to enter to our room (and the help of 2 staff members).

The B & B Miravalle is in the hills of Scanzorosciate just 13 km from Orio al Serio Airport and 20 minutes by road from the provincial capital Bergamo. It is overlooking a beautiful valley where in summer you can enjoy the sun on our terrace in complete relaxation. The rooms are colorful and cozy, located on the ground floor of the house, and equipped with kettle, TV, telephone, and WI-FI.

Reviewed By Marjolein KVanessa and Maurizio were very hospitable and friendly! I arrived on Monday and the moment I rang the door bell they greeted me with friendly smiles. Both informed me where I could eat and have a beautiful walk and provided me with everything I needed. Since I had booked a horse riding tour on Tuesday they were even so friendly to take me by car to where I needed to go. I couldn't have asked for more friendlier hosts. They went out of their way to make me feel at home and provided me with lots of information about the area. I am so grateful! My visit to Scanzorosciate was one of my highlights! Ah, and their neighbour is also very helpful and friendly! Furthermore, the B&B has everything you need. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower was nice and warm! If I visit again, I know I will be booking a room with them again!! Grazie mille!!!

The house is also suitable for disable people since it is equipped with slip roads which allow the stay of everyone in the total safety. Reviewed By FamilyH496Scanzorosciate is NOT conveniently located for guests wishing to sightsee in the area unless they have a car at their disposal. The bus service to and from Bergamo does not run beyond 9pm and there’s a scarcity of taxis in the area. Flower Garden B&B provides basic accommodation. This is the first time when staying at a guest house where house rules and lack of home comforts have added to a feeling of purpose rather than the welcoming of guests. The room had a list of rules rather than a customer information pack. You are not supposed to enter their property in shoes; flip flop type slippers are provided and outdoor shoes are to be removed on entry. No eating in rooms is encouraged and although a fridge is provided no glasses or cups were provided in the rooms let alone tea or coffee making facilities. We bought plastic cups to use in the bathroom, room and garden. Signs were left on beds telling guests not to put their bags on the beds . A swimming pool is available from May to September but for limited periods of time only during the day. An 8 euro charge per person over 6 years is made per day although for us this was included in our booking fee Our rooms did have private bathrooms although the taller guests in our party struggled with the low level ceilings on the top floor. One of the two rooms offered, had an air conditioning unit the other had a sliding door and shutters with neither an AC unit or a ceiling fan. The upstairs room was serviced only by a lift. Those staying at The Flower Garden can enjoy a satisfying breakfast each morning and the hosts are welcoming. Bibles are in evidence around the property and guests gifted with one each on checkout. - however a welcome pack and customer information pack containing up to date local information would have been more helpful on our arrival! The strength of wi fi signal was better in the upstairs areas and was not reliable the ground floor.

Reviewed By Jhen BThis b&b is near the center of Bergamo,very neat place,the bathroom and room is very clean. Lack of choises for breakfast because they dont serve fresh croissants but the packed one from supermarket. No parking lot but the owner told us to park in the pizzeria near. Staff is good.
