We are exactly half way between Catania and Messina and only 15 minutes away from Taormina.You will be able to enjoy our beach club during the summer season distant only 5 minutes walking. There you can relax listening to some good music or having a mojito on the beach.For lunch or dinner we will be pleased to suggest some restaurants in the area or you can try our famous “pane cunzato” at the beach bar if you are looking for a light “sicilian” lunch.Our staff will be pleased to help you transforming your stay in an unforgettable experience.

Reviewed By worslipWe needed a positioning hotel for Taormina early the next day - this hotel worked out pretty well. Very helpful and friendly staff. Small niggle #1 - two extra pillows would be better than one per room. Small niggle #2 - consider 'normal milk' in addition to unsweetened milk as an option for breakfast. Major issue - pretty noisy above us beyond the stipulated 10 pm quiet time - I was too tired after a late flight to really notice but be aware - i would insist on the top floor to avoid the shoe tapping effects on the roof. Otherwise, great stay.

Reviewed By zuzkad-06The hotel is located just a few steps from the beach. The rooms are very clean, with a beutiful view at the sea. The breakfasts and dinners were served right at the beach. Such a nice experience! The food was also very tasty. The hotel staff was amazing! They were so nice and helpful - we wanted to rent a car and they provided it all for us. They also gave us a really good tips for the trips. I would definitely recommend it to all! Perfect for summer vacation.

Reviewed By doodle57Just spent 5 days here on a coach tour from England.The hotel was made aware of my dietary requirements I am coeliac do need glutenfree food. This is a hotel where this does not happen. Coeliac is an autoimmune problem and needs care to ensure no gluten is eaten. At the hotel despite being aware I was given a dish of veg soup with added pasta. When I mentioned it the waiter chose to strain the pasta out snd give me the soup, which y then had become contaminated. Was never told that pasta given was glutenfree, and despite management attempting to sort the situation out problems occurred throughout the visit. Staff were so uncooperative all the time.

THE WORST HOTEL IN SICILY
Reviewed By KingofladbrokegroveOkay firstly the photos in their marketing and website are a complete LIE, the Hotel is 2 star maximum, it is a Budget Family Package Holiday venue, that is SO run down and tired that the place is falling apart! Sold as a Mountain View room actually was looking at a huge brick wall so after much dispute we were moved to an Ocean View room that was tiny, very old and the lights didn’t work in the bathroom and the shower was covered in rust. The accommodation is split over a cliff face and so you have to constantly walk up hill as they don’t have any real transport system available, it was exhausting. There is no restaurant it is just a set menu canteen, the beach is miles away across a highway and a railway line, which makes the resort noisy. The staff are really rude and aggressive, which I later found out was due to the fact that they hadn’t been paid, as the owners are in financial trouble, I assume this is why they feel it is ok to lie about the hotel on line, as they are desperate. We checked out after one night despite having paid for the rest of the week, the staff refused any refund even though we booked via Booking.com and expected some support, but they told them to go away too. Avoid this place as it is THE WORST HOTEL IN SICILY

Very Poor All Round...
Reviewed By dylanjohnsWe went to this hotel as a Geography Field Trip at the start of the summer. When we arrived at the hotel the staff seemed moody and almost reluctantly gave us the key cards. When we entered our ‘rooms’ and were greeted by hot stuffy one with several broken items and furniture inside, such as the tv remote was not functional and the air conditioning unit that they kept turning off every day when we were out on our visits, was also not functional. However they did supply towels and lots of soaps for us to use. The balcony was nice enough however I was unlucky to look straight at an abandoned building. Pupils were able to put themselves in danger by climbing across balcony’s as there were no safety features to protect from this. Soon enough everyone was back downstairs looking for the WiFi. Apparently this hotel has WiFi, it does but will set you back €4 and in addition to this the WiFi has poor connectivity and therefore be unusable. The food at the hotel was some of the worst food I have ever tasted. A previous review said the food was bland and in one circumstance they couldn’t identify the meat. I thought, oh this must be a one off or someone emphasising their awful visit. But no, the food was extremely bland and they did serve a meat that they couldn’t identify! Because of this most pupils did not even try the meat at all. Also some pupils had allergies however even being asked not to serve them food with nuts in, they did. Which led to a pupil having a allergic reaction. In conclusion, this place is awful and I would highly recommend you not even trying the place out because I certainly will never be staying or eating at this place ever again.

Reviewed By patrizia vI have to admit that although I changed my mind and did not sleep over, what held me back were the outdated facilities and what had preceded my arrival. I had called a 100times at 1 pm for information. I got redirected to another number but to no avail. I turned up at the camping,personally but had to wait till 4 pm.

Reviewed By Karla MI had a really great experience at B&B Villa Carmen and definitely will stay again. Carmen, Salvatore and their daughter Roberta are amazing hosts, they made me feel at home. The villa is very cozy, very near to the beach. My bedroom was very cozy, confortable, large and clean. The breakfast was delicious and they serve me delicious fruits from its own garden! They are always willing to help you with any information that you need. Special thanks to Roberta who helped me a lot with touristic reservations in Taormina excursions and took me to Savoca where I had the chance to visit the little town and Bar Vitelli. I highly recommend this B&B!!
