The Souris hotel has 28 lux rooms and suites with modern or traditional style. It is located within the picturesque village of Rovies in Evia island, only 40 meters away from the beautiful beach and 9 kilometers from the town of Limni. It is built within a green landscape while the view is elevated panoramic to the sea on one side as well as to the piny hills surrounding the Rovies on the other side.
A wonderful stay

Perfectly located along the beautiful coastline it allows people to explore with no great difficulty. Though I don't drive (on opposite side of road) owner kindly arranged good price taxis and sourced bus times as well. Breakfast was delicious and I even had gluten free crackers provided (not easy to get). Room was spotless, airy, complete with air-conditioning, and lovely balcony. Lovely welcome each time I came back from days out or beach (only 150 metres away). Highly recommended. Eileen

Reviewed By Kostas_El_2015Very nice rooms next to the beach of Rovies in North Evia. Very comfortable and clean rooms with nice view to the beach and the garden. Low prices resulting in high value for money! The owners are very friendly and hospitable.

Reviewed By Relax44609842541The hotel was basically on the beach. The room was fantastic, exceptionally clean! The breakfast was nice especially the orange marmalade, which was hand made by Mrs. Chrysoula. Would definitely recommend it.

The Hotel is located on a natural and quiet site,500 m from the beach, on a hill surrounded by olive trees. The accommodation has been designed to be relaxed, informal. Twin and double rooms await you, discreetly decorated, climate controlled, with books instead of television and a breath-taking view. Open all year around.
A breath of fresh air - warm and welcoming
Reviewed By selfie1530My girlfriend and I were looking for a convenient weekend getaway from Athens and stumbled upon this hotel on "smallhotelsingreece.com." The drive took about 3 hours from the center of Athens, and we arrived at night on Friday. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Marina and Stefanos, who were equal parts gracious and welcoming. They greeted us with big smiles, and a glass of cold lemonade. They told us about Evia, and its suffering over the last year, and about how difficult it has been psychologically and business-wise. Marina spoke stoically about planting trees at a time when no one is thinking of progress; of stubbornly taking care of the land at a time when many have fled. The property itself is quaint, set high on a hill overlooking the sea and olive trees. The town itself is small, with a handful of restaurants and nearby villages that are nice. Every morning, we were served a lovely breakfast of homemade fares (the usual suspects) alongside fresh coffee and a juice. The hosts were generous with advice (nearby waterfalls, restaurants, hikes) and warm in their hospitality. Eleonas is the classic inn of Greek folklore, the mountain home, the mythic escape — to the looking glass between nature and sea, as if the two were never distinct.

Awful, unprofessional behaviour
Reviewed By Mannito JDecent rooms but awful behaviour from the staff. Rude, ironic and disrespectful. The manager initially declined to give us the receipt and we had to argue to get it. Definitely not going to visit again.

Relaxing stay
Reviewed By LondonSmurfWe spent a week during heatwave in Greece. It was very quiet and relaxing. Peaceful simple setting. Pool is great to keep children occupied or for a quick dip. Hotel is very close to the village of Rovies but car is necessary. Don't expect luxuries and modernities but a relaxing unassuming stay with an authentic Greek family that is friendly and always keen to help. We had a lovely time and wish them well.
