Chidambara Vilas offers the palatial comforts of a true Chettinad home. Chidambara Vilas is strategically located at Ramachandrapuram, Kadiapatti, about 04 km off the historic fort of Thirumayam - an Archeological Survey of India monument in Pudukotai Dist. It is located at the mid point in the famous Tanjore- Madurai-Trichy Circuit. It became operational from 3rd Nov 2010. The property offers 25 guest rooms, experiential dinning restaurant, demo kitchen, formal restaurant, informal bar area, and a swimming pool. The hotel is situated at a distance of 75 km from Tanjore, 90 kms from Madurai and 80 kms from Trichy.

Reviewed By manjithgambhirA neatly renovated Chettiar heritage property, this palatial hotel is an excellent place to stay and experience Chettinad culture. Everything about the stay here was excellent, right from the hospitality staff (Priya and Pandian), the beautiful rooms, the intricate woodwork on the windows and doors, the Burma teak adorned corridors and the distinct courtyards. The dining was an incredible experience in itself. The staff were very courteous (Dinesh and Senthil) and we experienced an array of delectable Chettinad delicacies for breakfast and dinner. The food here should not be missed. There were many other people who made the stay here memorable. In total, the stay here was beyond what we were expecting and was extremely pleasant. A big thank you to everyone.

Reviewed By Chandra VI have stayed for a day.Rooms were OK. Receptionist were kind and helpful. The room was equipped with touleteries. Toulet was disinfected and maintained well.But the food was not the expected level. Varieties were not much. Tastewise also average. Good luck

Reviewed By Pari VMy self and my friends stayed in ANS pride at 2022 June 03 , the room was superb, In pudukkottai i never expected this kind of hotel, the room we got 2 single sofas, one 42in TV, hair dryer with all the bathroom accessories, Tea ? , coffee supplies also in room was will minted in house keeping, good response from front desk also, I really special thank to Mr.Cibi ( Front Office Manager) the way he approaching to the guest it's really memorable. When I try to book a room in ANS Pride that time room was sold out because of Mr.Cibi I got the rooms in ANS and Next day Morning we went to breakfast in they restaurant time I met Mr.Sadham Hussain, he is doing good, but breakfast not much variety, still the property was new they started now only in future I expecting good spread breakfast, definitely I will recommended my friends and family doing good keep rocking

Reviewed By divak21i stayed here for a very short period. The hotel is in the heart of the town as it is close to the bus stand and other government offices. Parking is available but there is no restaurant.there is a theater just opposite to this hotel.Overall its a good stay

An Average Hotel for a short stay
Reviewed By Reach SI was forced to take this hotel for a pudukottai trip as rooms were in demand from other hotels. Located just opposite to bus stand, My check in was so easy but none had bothered to take luggage to the room. Rooms are clean and neat with zero pests and mosquitos. Washroom could be even better as no shower available. Toilet flush was not working and more importantly our room does not have a latch to lock. The main disadvantage on this hotel is that it has Tasmac next to this hotel and hence the entire road has been blocked with vehicle parking. Its tough to manage the crowd and park your vehicle. Room service is good with immediate response. Hot water is through buckets but given on time even at 5 am in the morning. Rooms has smoking smell. Overall, for the cost we paid, its not worth hotel. Much to improve.
