Reviewed By Scarab007We are not sure how this place ended up with an 8.2 rating as it was awful, not a good country experience. The property was incredibly dirty. The shared kitchen was full of dirty dishes when we arrived and they were still there when we left.

Reviewed By Franoc1964We arrived in Genova Voltri tired and restless Saturday afternoon (28 March). After only 15 mins we found ourselves immersed in the countryside, away from the madding crowd. Viviana greeted us warmly and showed us our rooms, lovely, all that is required. We had a lovely walk in the woods. A light meal then off to the Terme (if you decide to go make sure you leave around 23,30 to avoid the rush in the changing rooms ! ) Sunday morning we were joined by friends from Piacenza, had a lovely 2 hour walk to Giutte and beyond, walking back through would land to reach Grill at 12.55. Lunch was simple good food, Bonarda "sfuso" wine lovely. Congratulations to all, Gaia so charming and witty, we felt as we have been away for a week. We traveled with our kids, 14 and 11 yrs, they loved it too.

Reviewed By NavrixWe really enjoyed our stay at Locanda Nonno Puin e Lalla Norma! We would like to say very big thank you to the owner Guido and his wife Mariuccia! They made us to feel like we are visiting very close family- like our grandparents. The hotel is very cozy and the atmosphere there is very warm and positive. Rooms are spacious, aesthetic and fresh. Breakfast was great with not only sweet bread with jam, but also with very tasty Crudo bacon and of course excellent coffee. We had a dinner at the restaurant on the ground floor. Dinner was simple , but very delicious with good house wine and very cozy and familiar atmosphere. This hotel is not for those who is looking for loud and rushing tourist places, but for those, who like quite and homelike rest in quite village surrounded by a mountains. Definitely we want to stay here once again- to feel this warm atmosphere from hotel owners! Thank You! Greetings from Latvia!

Reviewed By meadowlark111We have been coming back to this albergo for years. It is tucked away in an ancient alleyway, but the rooms are spacious and Giovanna and Simone warm and welcoming. Easy access from the A12, up in the hills. The town has great views of the forested slopes, with a fast-flowing river nearby. Barnyard animals include a Shetland pony, chickens, unusual sheep, ducks. Three small dogs add to the liveliness. Simone's beehives also produce delicious honey. Highly recommended and good value.

Reviewed By Vitor BSounds too good to be true, but it is. Just outside Recco, great choice if you're travelling by car (no parking available, though, you just park it normally by the pavement). The staircase is definitely a bit too steep, especially if you're carrying heavy luggage (but the staff will help you with that). Inside, however, you're stepping into a beautiful silent garden hidden from the rest of the world. The spaces are on the small side, but everything is just right for an excellent, clean, affordable B&B.

Very disappointing
Reviewed By LittleOrchid29I selected this place based on the reviews and was terribly disappointed. This Bed & Breakfast did not offer breakfast for reasons unknown. Although COVID seems to be a popular excuse, we were the only guests in the place and still the breakfast was canceled.... We arrived a little later than expected due to traffic, and there was no one there. I had to call to get someone to come and open the door for us. We were shown to our rooms promptly, never given a proper tour of the B&B. We had no fridge in the room and were not shown the kitchen where we could keep a few items. The hostess was invisible and not very accommodating. Beware when you book to select a room upgrade or you will end up with a room that has a shower fit for a 2-year old. Naturally, were put in this room, even though the Inn was empty and many other rooms were available. Overall, we had the feeling that we were imposing on the hostess and she really could not be bothered to care for her only guests. Very disappointing stay. Would not recommend.

Reviewed By badmidanOn my way through the mountains I luckily found La Moggia. It’s a very beautiful place and a house with a story. The owner is living very close and is super lovely. I felt very well as the rooms were quite big and everything was very clean. I can absolutely recommend!

Reviewed By ApplefeeThis little b&b is run by a lovely couple who have given such a nice personal touch to the place and really run it with love and care. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished and decorated. They are also meticulously clean. It’s calm and peaceful, a great place where to wind down after a busy day of sightseeing. It’s a little out of the way so a car is a necessity and there are not many places nearby where to eat, shop or hang out. A little pizza place just down the road was a good place for dinner though but if you’re staying for longer than just a night and would like some variety, the town center is a few km away. All in all a very enjoyable place indeed.

Please save yourself from bad experience
Reviewed By 709andre2018The main fraud with this accomodation was that it stated that the room has private bathroom but in fact we shared the bathroom with other guests who had room on the same floor. Privacy and security wasn't priority of the owner. Actually there was only lightly frosted glass in the door of the room and also the bathroom so everyone could see what you are doing there. Owner only speaks Italian and she was convincing us to speak to her phone, so she could google translate it into her language. We were shocked when we noticed that we may unlock our room with the keys from the bathroom and also the room of the other guests. The bed was one of those unconfortable italian beds you may encounter often at lousy accomodations. Walls were thin and we heard our neighbours having fun very well - unfortunately. First accomodation I left in the middle of the night to find a better one.
