Huge room, huge breakfast

From the terrace, it looks as if one is in the countryside, but walk 50m and you are on the edge of the town, and the town centre and the old part of the town are less than 10 minutes walk away. Loads of parking as well. Rita is a great host, though her English isnt great, nd she serves up a lovely and substantial breakfast each day. Fresh orange juice, a bruschetta (but a huge one), freshly made cake, fruit (we had strawberries two days, peas and beans another). We didnt need lunch!. The room we had was huge, with a fridge, aircon/heater, a sofa, plenty of wardrobe space, and a large bathroom with plenty of hot water for a powerful shower. Thnak you Rita

Reviewed By Pia TWe loved the hotel since we walked in. The front desk guy was super helpful and accommodating. We where super tired and I asked to have late check out and he was super accommodating! We highly recommend this place. The view is super pretty, the pool area it’s very comfortable and the rooms are very clean.

The Hotel D'Amato is situated only a few steps from the sea with a very suggestive view on the little town of Peschici, which is about 1km away. Our hotel offers the highest standards you can find in this category. The large restaurant is in a comfortably fresh area, fine and elegantly furnished. The beach with its fine and golden sand, only a few metres away, will not make you miss anything.

Reviewed By momwithkid_8Was here six years ago with my son and returned back with my love. Great, family run hotel with a quick 5 minute walk to the sea. Shuttle to city center available. Staff is friendly and attentive. Activities for children and many amenities (on site spa). Shuttle service to local train station. Hotel is kept immaculate. Pino shuttle driver is very helpful too. Nice to see some of the same staff still there.

Breakfast was average nothing special for me but I must admit the croissants were nice and fresh.. delicious. The staff members is super friendly, polite and helpful. I would have given 5 star if I had a key to get in to my room instead of asking the receptionist every time to open it for me, this was annoying.

Reviewed By molliquetteThe hotel is overprized:double room is 115 €/nite with a very poor quality breakfast. The lift is illegal: no door inside thus is forbidden for children.a big red buttos has to be pushed in case of emergency which can happen if your clothes or fingers are stuck between the wall and the lift whilst going as no door closes it!! The hotel is from the 60s and badly isolated. Without air c all day and nite the room is not bearable. They show in the hotel pub 20 photos or more of nice home made food by a smiley woman ( ravioli etc etc) and this is why we booked!!BUT the restaurant does not exist anymore!! Our shower has a broken door handle and a piece of plastic in the sliding door which hangs partially down. Only the view from some rooms is very nice ( hills with olive trees and sea). For this price however we had yesterday a very elegant modern room with a gastronomic brunch in Vieste in the white hotel. Orchidea hotel is overpriced,dangerous and misleading customers on the website.
