Even better experience than the last time

We came back to tathastu because we loved it the last time we were here and the experience just got better this time. There are plenty of activities to do and the food is very delicious. We asked for mango tart which we loved last time and they made it for us for breakfast the next day. They also provide a guy who is full time dedicated to whatever you need. He’s there in the villa whenever you need him. His name was Sagar and we had the same guy on both our visits and he was always there whenever we needed him.

Find your ultimate luxury amidst the lush and dense forests of Pench, Madhya Pradesh

Traveling to the jungle can be exhilarating, and the thought of staying in lushness amongst the wild will bring an adrenaline rush to many, but deep in our hearts, we hope for the stay to be safe and satiny in terms of comforts. Many will second the fact that hangovers can be experiences that take over your senses and leave you to wonder if it was for real. Such is the case with our stay at the much acclaimed and highly spoken property -The Pench Jungle Camp. I would rate this "Best of the best" as it embraces the true essence of the jungle that's around it and yet offers indulgence and convenience to its guests. I loved the stay and everything about the property. From the welcoming smile as soon as you enter the premise to the tastefully designed spaces. There is so much that captivates your soul and makes you want to explore in and around the room that you call home for the next few days. The team at the resort works seamlessly towards bringing this property to where it stands today. I am so glad that I chose this property for our stay during the trip conceived in memory of my deceased father. The sales team ( Mr Abhishek Agarwal) patiently took note of all the requirements and diligently communicated them to the rest of the team. There were no gaps whatsoever, and that for me is; hospitality with a smile from start to end. The entire crew at the property went out of their way to ensure that we felt welcomed and satisfied, and they were in sync with our emotions concerning this trip. One word for the experience- is “otherworldly”. The operations manager Mr. Rajnish left no stone unturned and ensured that our meals and all requirements were at par. The flawless service that he so carefully showcased speaks volumes about how the brand hires and nurtures individuals in the team. Kudos! Our naturalist Mr. Shashank, albeit in huge demand by travelers staying at the property, pulled out time to educate us on the reserve and its habitants. We weren't lucky with good sightings of the tigers alike a few others at the resort during our stay yet it's heartening to see how the naturalists associated with the property worked extra miles to abet the sightings. The rides were enlivening due to their local telltales and the knowhow of all that constitutes a jungle. Not to forget the smile and pleasantness that was delivered at all times. Note: I highly recommend giving yourself a blend of morning, afternoon, and night safari experiences. While the sightings are a bonus, you are sure to soak in the grandeur of mother nature in all phases of the day. My favorite was the night safari followed by the early morning, whereas the sightings happened during the afternoon safari, so a combination of all worked wonders for us. The food was delectable! We looked forward to our meals every day because the meals had a surprise element each time. My highest regards to the chef Mr. Thapa, and Mr. Rensingh for infusing love, compassion, and awareness while they cooked the recipes. The food must be tagged as "ambrosial" for it was served in no less divine way. My favorite however will remain the Mahua Kheer and I yet crave it. I wish I could carry it all with me but sigh! This is a must property to stay at when in Pench, and I highly recommend the lake view luxury tent because the views were stunning in the mornings, and the decor despite being simplistic; was classy and gorgeous. Albeit I do recommend staying during the monsoons for the views it enjoys and pleasant weather or in winters where the foggy mornings will add an enchanting tinge to the stories you narrate to the world through your captures. The property has a cozy pool for you to dip in and sip your comfort drink in the scorching heat or just have a tete-a-tete with your loved ones. If this isn't enough, then venture around for the spa room, library, play area, or bike your way to the eco-park. During your stay, if you care to learn more about Pench Tiger Reserve, and its inhabitants or steer through the stars with the help of a telescope, do not hesitate to ask for assistance. There is no dearth of things you can do here so, plan your stay well. Rest assured, you will always be treated with a surpirse element by the team. We were amazed by the dinner arrangements under the Mahua tree, the sun downer high tea arrangements and the candle light dinner exclsuively for my family. When you dream about an experience like never before, this team is capabale of bringing that to the light of reality. Note: The parks are closed during monsoons for the roads inside get inaccessible due to rains but, the property is very beautiful and worthwhile regardless. It is incomprehensible to write a thank you to every member we met during our stay. I hope my email can do justice to the emotions I am showcasing here as a representative of my family that thought the team was like a compassionate family that looked after us so dearly. Thank you once again for the unforgettable stay. I am planning my trip real soon. PS: Don't forget to befriend and pat the wolf-like dogs( They were german shepherds but very well looked after and loved) at the resort. They were fabulous and as pleasing as the remaining crew.

Wonderful stay

Reviewed By mishti20162016

Excellent stay, wonderful service specially in the restaurant - the boys are very well trained, they go out of their way to make you comfortable and alarm bells ring if you have any inconvenience. Since i have dietary restrictions, they were wonderful and made my food separately without any fuss and extra charge - though we were willing to pay for the food. The staff want to make sure that you have a great experience. Must visit when in Pench. It's very close to the buffer area and is nice and green inside too..... A dip in the pool is so cooling. But please carry your conditioner, that is not provided.

Well, I have to be honest here…..this place really was amazing! I loved every part of this. My wife and I stayed in one of the treehouses and that was a real gem of an experience. Great facilities at the room and the main house was very well run. Great to cool off in the pool after a day in the jungle. The safaris we took were very well organised, Shiv was our naturalist and was very knowledgeable. The food provided for these excursions was great and the lemon water very well received in the 45degree heat! I really would recommend this place.

Enjoyable Jungle stay

Reviewed By shibuztt

One of the best hotel in Pench. Here you can stay within the Jungle. You need to walk in a jungle to reach your cottage rooms. You have a tree top like machan also apart from the cottage. Beds are arranged there with mosquito nets etc, The experience was very nice and different. When we went there in April 2019 it was Summer so all trees were with dry leaves and it was good for a photo shoot. From the bedroom to the wash room you need to walk in a wooden small corridor to reach. All are 5 star. Maintained well. Food can be improved.

Great hospitality and a superb wilderness expert

Reviewed By shashankgarg22

Tuli Tiger Corridor - a truly memorable stay We spent 6 days at Tuli Tiger Corridor in Pench National Park during February 2022, and it’s an understatement to say that it was the best vacation we had ever had. The property is located barely 1 km from the Turia gate of the national park. This gate is one of the most popular gates of the park, as it goes into the core zone. If you have never been to a national park, it’d be useful to know that a national park is divided into a core zone and a buffer zone. Core zone is where there is absolutely no human activity permitted, and the area is as close to untouched wilderness as you can get. Buffer zone is where some human activity is permitted, but only for the native/tribal population, who mostly are dependent upon a pastoral livelihood (cattle herding and farming etc). Turia gate leads to the core zones. To prevent poaching, the core zones do not have identifiable features except for some names like Alikatta, Karmajhiri etc, which likely derive from the villages that might have existed there in the past. Core zones have plenty of large herbivores, and hence, most of the carnivores, including tigers, although some tiger’s territories overlap with buffer zone too. Tuli resort being in the walking distance of the Turia gate hence is a useful feature. The resort itself has two waterbodies next to each other, along with plenty of bamboo covered land, and other trees. The premises are almost entirely shady because of the tree cover, and the biodiversity at the resort itself is simply incredible. We saw nearly 60 species of birds in the course of this trip, and nearly 50 of those were in and around the Tuli resort. This includes the very rare ones like the Black-naped Monarch, and the Verditer Flycatcher. The waterbodies also attracted the migratory birds like Spot-billed Ducks, Gray Herons and Little Cormorants, along with the 3 perennial species of Kingfisher. Here, it’s important to highlight the incredible insight of the staff at Tuli. Mr Mukesh, the naturalist and the manager, and Ajinkya, from the front desk who managed a 7 am check in for us and Antlal who served us tea and breakfast when we reached at 5 am in the morning, Binod who is a great chef with the Indian cuisine and managed to cook something new everyday. Shiva and Pawan (and all the others) from the in-house restaurant for the brilliant service, and a shout-out to Inderpal who helped us recover an item we had lost in the course of one safari. The combined efforts of Mr Mukesh, our guide, Rajesh and the driver Om Prakash ji were together able to track and find the tigress Bijamatta on the third safari we did in Peach, and it was truly an unforgettable experience as we saw a recent mother pull wool over the eyes of seasoned guides by crossing the road from the northern end after heading south and leading them to think she would cross from the southern end of the road. Her 8 month old cubs were also a treat to behold as the early morning sun’s rays cut across the autumnal deciduous forest and fell slanting on the brilliant black striped yellowness in the dried yellow grass. It was a true effort to spot the tiger cubs in the grass and it’s amazing how well the tiger’s camouflage is suited to these forests. This was, without doubt, the greatest wildlife vacation we've had, and we will definitely visit Tuli again.
