Would like to call out some names: Payel and Prema from the restaurant - they would always ensure that my little one (1 year old) i swell seated, feeling well, would pamper him always, Resham from the front desk - lovely warm hearted girl who would ensure you are all happy with your stay, and Head Chef Shiv Vishal - he ensured that my 1 year old had his kind of food. Amazing people, and they would ensure you have your best holidays with them. 2. Stay is absolutely comfortable, good room, good housekeeping etc. 3. Food is bliss!! Great breakfast spread.. I bet you can't finish all! And yumm dinner buffet! My favorite was the various kinds of Pasta that they were making. 4. They have a third party travel desk - what else you need?? Note that there are no Uber or Ola in Goa. This travel team offers airport pick-up and drop services, as well as you can rent a good car too. We loved the car renting aspect and we were dropped at the aiprort as per our convenience. 5. Good pool, great sitting areas, lovely places to take snaps! Some Tips: 1. Opt for a top floor, swimming pool facing room in Ibis Casa (I felt Ibis Sol was a bit space bound) 2. Opt for half board - that means you will get complimentary breakfast and dinner/lunch at a very reasonable price. Please note food is Goa is super costly and outside food the quantity is very less. 3. Let the staff know about any of your additional requirements, they will get you. Thanks Ibis! Reviewed By JRPuneI have been visiting Goa every year since 2013, other than the 2020 and 2021 (Covid years), and this is the only place that I have stayed because of the unique experience in terms of its (a) proximity to a quiet and secluded beach, (b) a wonderful pool which also serves as a bar, and (c) a great restaurant right next to the premises - Calamari, which also has a wonderful ambience. More over Santana beach resort also has a wonderful staff - this include the people who take care of the bookings and room reservation (Nilesh, Amar and Alex) and the room service and breakfast staff (Subol and team). The proximity to important shopping places like Newton's, Fab India and eateries like Fisherman's cove, helps a lot. Moreover, you can take a morning run/walk to Fort Aguada and the Aguada Jail which has been newly opened this year. These attractions are within 1.5-2kms from Santana.

Reviewed By VinodhP16We were a family of 5, and had a booking in Club Mahindra which they had over booked. They rebooted us in Holiday Inn and we were not top happy about it. But the team in Holiday Inn were just phenomenal and it turned out to be one of our best vacations. A big shout out to Dip and Manish.

Reviewed By Globaltraveller507A truly outstanding hotel - my solo 3 weeks at the Golden Tulip, Candolim, Goa (review from a most discerning British (UK) global traveller) With an arrival time of 1.30am (from Nepal) and no local currency the reception team were most helpful in assisting with settling my taxi fare directly with the taxi driver. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, to the time I left – my stay was exemplary. Simply wonderful, amazing staff across all divisions from reception, restaurant/chef, housekeeping, concierge, and the exceptional management team. I had initially booked for 1 week and had thought of travelling around Goa perhaps spending time in different hotels, however once I had experienced this hotel, it became evident that this was the place to stay. Why? Simple because of the superb level of comfort , central position (with easy access to all parts of Goa), excellent restaurant dining, breakfast & room service, super large modern bedrooms with modern marble bathrooms and sofa bed, balcony, swimming pool and hotel staff/ team, who made every endeavour to ensure my stay was nothing short of relaxing, enjoyable and perfect. The rooms are very much a 5 star quality in terms of size, furnishing, standard of fittings, bathroom with large walk in marble/tile shower and balcony with a pool. Housekeeping teams are professional and diligent and my regular housekeeping gentleman was so kind, helpful and attentive ensuring my room was clean, comfortable and a pleasure each day of my stay. The restaurant was excellent and the international head chef was versatile and made the most delicious cinnamon and sugar French toast and omelettes. The lunch food and dining menu was also tasty. From the tandoori butter rotis which were light and fluffy, to the chicken tikka and biryanis, the chefs produced some of the most divine food. I even sampled their cocktail menu – the Long Island Iced tea was a lovely long drink as was the refreshing beer after a hot day. In fact, I would go a step further to say that in all of the leading 5 star hotel brands across the world that the level of service from the hotel teams at the Golden Tulip were simply above all other brand hotels. They were responsive, helpful, providing assistance with excursions, offering valuable advice, suggestions and were exceptional. Clearly, this leadership is from top down, and the staff are such a professional and happy team which makes this the great hotel that it is! I have never spent 3 weeks in one hotel before (reason being I had intended to buy a holiday home), and after the 1st week I made a decision to extend my stay for a further 2 weeks as I found all of the facilities so impressive. In particular the rooms, restaurant, staff and facilities. I appreciated its central location, with access to key areas by taxi and rickshaw. From Candolim, I was 5 mins from the beach, a 5 min walk to the local shopping street, 5 minutes by taxi to Calangute another beach and larger shopping area, a 30 min drive to Anjuna and Baga, a 20 min drive to Panjim etc. Taxi’s are easy to pick up from outside the hotel, and if any advice or assistance was required the hotel team are always at hand. The hotel also provide a taxi pick up and drop up from the airport which I would recommend, as my taxi to Mumbai required a 3.30am departure, and so the hotel taxi were most efficient and pleasant with the drop off to the airport. Yes this is a very central location, a very impressive hotel and such an amazing team of hotel staff across all divisions. I made the best decision to stay here for 3 weeks, and I will return as this is simply a marvellous hotel for a discerning traveller like myself!!! A BIG thank you to ALL of the Golden Tulip staff and management team for a wonderful 3 week stay !! I will definitely come and see you again.
