Remote area, quite
Reviewed By Littlen23If you want to see and experience the remote area of life in Thailand this is a great little place. The lady who runs this little place is very good to handle any need that you have and will cook two meals for you, very good. The pool is nice and relaxing. Not much to do in this village but if you want a place to see the culture and relax this is a nice place to stay for a couple of days while traveling thur Thailand..

Great Place
Reviewed By dab107Very clean and comfortable and excellent value. Beds are great, English language TV very limited, and no on-site restaurant. There is a pool which looked clean but we didn't have a chance to go in. Great place to chill out or overnight but be prepared to drive out for food. You MUST have a vehicle to stay here.

Reviewed By Kevin SGreat experience of the country side accommodation. Very good value and nice rooms with comfy bed. Very strong WiFi connection offered. The best was perhaps the coffee pavilion at the pond where you have excellent view of the hill while sipping your cup of coffee. Very nice and friendly host. Recommended warmly when you are in Nong Bua Lamphu.

Reviewed By renup756This is a cozy little homestay run by a couple in their fifties and eighties! Yes despite the age, they are vigorous and very helpful. It contains 5 rooms which are clean and functional and common toilets and baths which are also super nice. Nit who is 57 is friendly and so is her husband. For 300 baht, I would say this place is a steal!

WanWisa Homestay is located in the center of the Isan (northeast Thailand), in Nongbualamphu province. Roughly between the provincial capitals of Khon Kaen and Udon Thani. Not far from the northern banks of the vast Ubonratana lake. The landscape is dominated by rice fields, forests and hills. The small farming communities and villages are rarely visited by foreigners and are great to experience traditional Thai life.

Adequate room, decent value
Reviewed By PC1955The grounds are a bit shabby, but the bungalow was clean and comfortable. Shopping and dining minutes away by motorized transportation, maybe 15 to 20 minute walk to central city markets and lake. There is some noise from traffic on interior gravel roads, otherwise pretty quiet, for urban location.
