Reviewed By deanosaur89The hotel has a great location and has a metro entrance within 100 m of the front door. There are also lots of malls and good restaurants nearby. It seems to be in the thick of Nanning's city centre with many things to do close by as well. The rooms are very modern and spacious. We liked the layout as well with the chairs and the desk. The bathroom has a big shower stall with great pressure and a nice tub. They have glass doors and walls separating the shower and toilet that are see through but they have an opaque sliding door that lets in enough light. We thought we had a good view of the city and would have loved to use the tub while looking out but the sliding doors had brackets installed in our room which prevented them from sliding on that side of the bathroom area. Best part of the rooms is that they were quiet and very cool! The hotel staff were very cheerful in all areas and it appears covid protocols are relaxed as of July 2021 as many people were without masks in public areas like the restaurant and lobby. The amenities were in good condition as well at the hotel. The lobby bar looked like it had good drinks and there is a giant spiral staircase in the atrium which we thought was a great feature. The pool area was nice and clean too. The breakfast was mediocre and the Western options were Chinese style. There was a decent spread with some meats, fruits, pastries, noodles, fried rice and other Chinese options. There was a soup station and a omelette station. I don't think they make omelettes too often here because they scooped the ingredients for the omelettes from very small bowls which I thought were for display and the chef gave half my omelette away when another patron asked for it! I would say skip breakfast as there are many other solid options nearby the hotel. We found the elevator was busy during our stay. We stayed on the 32nd floor and found many guests would hop on/off to go up or down two or three floors. We would normally let a crowd take the elevator and wait for the next one but then we would be part of the next crowd. The pros outweighed the cons for us and we would still highly recommend this hotel. Closest metro is ASEAN Business District.

Immediately upon check in I was impressed by the very top level of service provided by Queena Quan and pampered well with a nice room arranged. She was also helping me to navigate through the covid policies & requirements by the local government, which saved me lots of hassles. I can see her go very far on the path of hospitality indeed. The room is comfortable with great views. Snacks & minibar is free as a Marriott Elite benefit. Breakfast was okay and I wish the hours could have delayed till 10:30am instead of 10am on a daily basis. Overall a great stay, highly recommended.

Reviewed By PillowBookDo not even expect help to book a departure taxi. They don't even have any contacts for such a simple related assistance. It is just a cheap room to pass the night. Hygiene level is 8 out of 10. For its price, can't be too critical but I hope the management pay more attend to cleaning up the toilet. Doesn't feel fresh at all.

I had Christmas dinner buffet here as well as the breakfast buffet. I gotta say, the head chef here is very talented and detailed oriented. They have everything you need with all the variety. Lobster for dinner; omlets for breakfast. Even the hash brown potatoes are super delicious. The hotel room here and the buffet price are 30-40% cheaper than Na Lotus hotel, but don’t let that fool you. The quality of food here is 10 times better than Na Lotus Hotel.

Clean, comfortable room with good amenities
Reviewed By NGeorgeI chose this hotel on the basis of a list I was sent by the agency with which I was going to be working during this assignment; so, the choice was almost random, as it was the only one of the choices I was given that I could find listed on Trip Advisor. Certainly, the best feature of the hotel was the full breakfast included in the price of the room. The breakfast buffet was expansive and included a wide variety of Chinese noodle and vegetable dishes, fruit, yogurt, bread and pastries. One could even get western toast and jam, if absolutely necessary. Juice, coffee (instant) and tea were all available. Although one sometimes has to ask for western utensils (which weren't necessarily on display but available on request), the generosity and diversity of of the breakfast was worthy of note. While the hotel staff seemed eager to help, the greatest challenge was that the desk reception staff (and most staff in the dining room) did not speak English. As I speak no Chinese, this limitation was serious. Even getting the Receptionist to find someone who could speak English was a challenge. However, I eventually spoke with an Assistant Manager who did speak English, and when I pointed out the difficulties of not having a person with English language skills on the front desk and the fact that I wanted to recommend the hotel for the other six international consultants on the same project, he promised to try to rectify this limitation for prospective English-speaking guests. It is probably worthwhile to check whether this promise has been kept if one is planning to stay here. The hotel was above average in terms of room quality, its cleanliness, and the amenities provided in the room and bathroom. It was quiet, and since my room was located on a higher floor in the hotel, I had an expansive view of the city, although, since it was rainy and cloudy the entire time I was there, the view was glum. However, the wifi on the upper floors, although theoretically free and available, was sometimes questionable. Since I was often up in the middle of the night, the wifi issue did not really affect me very often. I intend to stay here on future visits to Nanning, both because of its quality and services, and because it is close to the location where my business meetings will be held.
