Wonderful escape with great views and terrific room

We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms - lots of space, kitchenette, spa tub, and great deck - everything with views out over the water. The owners were very pleasant and kind - and everything was nice and clean. We organized barbecues each night with them. They provided the hot coals and lots of sides and we just brought seafood and pork. There is a fresh seafood shop and a minimart in very close walking distance that had everything needed. Parking was easy. Close to all the things you would want to see. Highly recommend!

Worst hotel ever
Reviewed By Hkim1211. I booked a room two months ahead but i was notified that there will be renovation going on during my stay at the last minute. I had limitied access to facilities and there was construction noise everywhere. The hotel planned this renovation months and months earlier but they notified me only a week before my visit which made me not being able to cancel. 2. Room does not worth the money at all. I could have stayed at a much better accommodation at a half price near here: A. Slippers are used ones which are worn off so bad. B. Only horrible quality two pillows are provided and they charge me money for extra pillows (I was pregnant so i needed another pillow for between my legs.) C. They cannot even borrow me scissors and ointment not even for an hour (Staff waited at the door until I finish using scissors and ointment.) 3. Horrible service. I didn’t want a room cleaning service so I put the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door but they called my phone what they should do with room cleaning.. I answered i did not need room cleaning. When i got back to hotel there was a rubbish-looking plastic bag in front of my room which they put new towels and amenities. Duh..... Overall, if I visit the city another time, I would definitely not stay here because I do not want to waste my money. Horrible. This hotel does not deserve even one star

Very romantic place if you came there by your car
Reviewed By _L3822DCBig, bright and clean room with kitchen and an excellent view at sea and rice fields. There are barbecue facilities as well. The owners are very nice and helpful: he can speak good English, his wife speaks Korean only. However the location is bit distant: no eateries or restaurants or supermarket around. You have to drive to the local beach about 20-30 min as well. This is the common thing to Namhae in general though

One of the best places to stay in Korea
Reviewed By RapwalkWe were recommended the Namhae Lounge 32 by colleagues who rated it their favourite place in korea, and it did not disappoint. The photo does it no justice, as on a pleasant day you know you are somewhere special. The apartment was clean, spacious and well-equipped and the balcony was excellent for sitting with a book or a drink and admiring the view of the ocean and small quay. The hotel has a quirky layout and offers a useful convenience store, well stocked with interesting beers, and a small cafeteria. I felt that the downstairs communal rooms were wasted space, with one being a karaoke room and the other just a place for chairs to hang out. Offering breakfast would be a good idea for the business. Also, if you want to eat, then you need to bring your own food, or you have to go to the local BBQ restaurant, which is not that good, with owners who seemed a tad stressed. The hotel is located in a quiet part of Namhae and makes a good base for exploring the island. Recommended.

Lovely view
Reviewed By expataliWe arrived in Namhae as a typhoon was coming from Taiwan. This ruined the plans we had there but Neuhaus was a lovely place to stay. We had a very large room with a nice updated bathroom on the ground floor with a patio. This guesthouse isn't oceanside like the listing says but has a beautiful view of some farms and the ocean. The yard at this guesthouse was really nice for enjoying a cup of coffee. The owner was very friendly and spoke English quite well. There is not much in the German Village in terms of restaurants but you can get a nice Weinstephaner beer (my favorite!) at some of the local restaurants. I recommend bringing food with you to cook. The free breakfast was nice and helped us get back on the road quickly. My only complaint is the listing on TripAdvisor and various other hotel booking sites did not list a pet fee at 30,000w. This wasn't a huge deal but would have been nice to know in advance. Otherwise, I'm quite sad that I'm permanently leaving Korea in a few months because I would love to stay at Neuhaus again when the weather is better.

Himalaya Guesthouse was opened on August 2013 at the owner's hometown where he grew up and you can enjoy nice view. There are five rooms; two couple rooms, one four bed room, two backpackers room(each room has three bunk beds). Each room has a bath room. We provide a customer with comfortable and clean sleeping place,tour information and organic fruits whenever possible. Pls come and enjoy.
Café Bogani, Sinus, Portugal
Reviewed By jhoo265In Nov 2021, I visited Sinus, Portugal. I was advised to try the Bogani Café and Restaurant. This small intimate little restaurant really surprised me. The meals it produced was out of this world. You could taste and experience the food. Plus the price was surprisingly easy on the pocket. If ever you find yourself in Sinus, Portugal, seek out Café Bogani and experience Portugal while creating everlasting memories. JHO

Beautiful views, clean rooms and incredibly kind staff
Reviewed By bevolikakisThe family who runs this pension we’re incredibly kind. They provided coffee, juice and pastries to our room each morning. The pension was very clean, we had the split level with a double bed on each level. There was a full kitchenette, bathroom and drying room on the main level. The second level had an entry to the roof where there was a tub with jets and a beautiful view of the ocean. Lots of boats going by throughout the day. Also a beautiful mountain landscape in the back. Free wifi, cable and parking. A CU and moms touch located at the bottom of the hill within walking distance. The outdoor pool has two tables next to it and you can rent a barbeque. They cleaned the rooms for us and were always so kind, Welcoming and helpful. The young man spoke very good English and was so helpful with any questions we had. We stayed as a family of 5 and loved it. We will definitely return to this pension when we go back to namhae again and would recommend it to friends.

Relaxing visit
Reviewed By thelonious22We got a pretty good weekday deal at the Zen House Pension located on the west coast of Namhae. The rooms on the second floor had a fantastic view of the ocean and Yeosu whether sitting inside or sitting out on the picnic bench on the patio. The room was pretty basic but had all the kitchen set up for simple meals. The nearest convenience store or restaurant was a good 2 km away and most sights were a good half hour drive away. However, it was a great spot to just do nothing and relax.
