Reviewed By Hampo1964The hotel is located on top of shopping centre near the city centre. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The hotel offers great value for money. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are very good. There's a nice swimming pool with great views. You can get a good breakfast. Would recommend.

Reviewed By GriffoHorshamOne night stay whilst in transit. Clean modern hotel with restaurant but no bar. Food menu was extensive but there was no wine list - just bottled beers. Breakfast was good for Thais but limited for foreigners - sausages and sliced ham in water plus fried eggs in a bain-marie - not very appetising although to be fair they did cook a very nice omelette fresh for me. Well worth the money for one night but not really suitable for an extended stay

Only suitable as a transit stop
Reviewed By Martin327I had high expectations of this franchise as they have over twenty hotels in Thailand alone and I was attracted by the reasonable prices. However, my conclusion is that it is very suitable as transit accommodation but that I would not use it again as a base for visiting Khorat. It is conveniently situated for access from the main north-east road route but a considerable distance from the city centre, so if you have a car, you are OK. The room I got was clean but very functional with no storage facilities for belongings, just a small hanging rack for shirts, etc. and there was a fridge but no safe. A side door led to a tiny balcony, half of which was occupied by the AirCon unit, and the wall-mounted ashtray still contained the debris from a previous guest. The Wi-Fi was barely adequate, which meant I usually had to go down to the lobby to do email and so on. The lobby/reception area contained the only source of refreshment – a small supply of noodle type snack packs and a microwave, plus a coffee machine that, inexplicably, was only switched on in the morning. The reception staff were evidently used to handling transit visitors and were not really interested in the needs of guests who were staying for several days. For example, I went down to reception to ask if they had a laundry service but was told ‘no’ and pointed vaguely in the direction of the main road. I trekked about half a Km. with my bag of dhobi before I found a laundry shop. So, in conclusion, if you are staying more than one night, decent value for money but don’t expect any frills.

Reviewed By Ming WSo Terrible .The wall is very thin and dirty. We can heard outside all night, sound of steps/elevator/stroller all of sound.Toilet smell so bad and sink look dirty. The cabinet smell bad too. Mattress and pillow clean but we can't sleep because of all sound all night.

Reviewed By Phil PShowing its age here and there, City Park is still a great little hotel with wonderful staff and most importantly ....clean and comfortable. It has got all the basics: excellent air-con, multi channel t.v., wifi, bar fridge (two waters supplied but anything else you need...just stock up across the road at the Mall Supermarket or family mart around the corner), housemaids work diligently to keep the place clean, breakfast included (limited choice and very basic). The best thing about the place are the peoplewho work here, feom the bell boy to reception etc It is very convenient as all reviewers note...it is opposite to Thailand's largest franchised Mall. Teeming with both people and shopping choices offering great sales periodically theoughout the year.

Good place for street foods
Reviewed By Borworn PFor business trip to Korat, gateway city to northeastern Thailand, Raya Grand is one good choice. The hotel is about 15 minutes drive from Korat, on the direction to Bangkok. Waiting walking distance from the he hotel, there are many street-food restaurants on both sides of the road offering variety of choices. Besides popular traditional Northeastern food, there are almost all alternative, including Korean, Chinese, tradition Thai and Western dishes. However there is no Seven-Eleven or other convenient store near the hotel . VIP Room on the seventh floor has one big bedroom and living room with small pantry. There are 2 big screen televisions, one for bedroom and one for living room. Bathroom is big and has two choices, rain shower and big bathtub for two. Breakfasts is simple with limited choices. WiFi is available in rooms and lobby Area, although it is not as fast as it is supposed to be. There are parking area both indoor and outdoor for your choices.
