Reviewed By Paul2GheorgheThe place is very nice, Rolland and his wife are wonderful people, we felt like visiting friend. Good breakfast. The railway station is very closed with good trains to Florence, Siena and Pisa. The parking is good and free.

Reviewed By JEO117A group of 9 enjoyed the hospitality of Manuela while in Tuscany. The villa is very well organized with a new kitchen. The house is immaculate and well stocked with arrival amenities. The bedrooms are on both floors with a second sitting area on the upper floor. Manuela was very flexible with our check in due to travel delays and was always readily available for questions or advice. The pictures are true to the house and perhaps underestimate the size of the villa and the great outside kitchen/eating area. Day trips to Florence, Luca, Siena, and San Gimignano were convenient. The train at Montelupo-Capria was convenient as well.

Very calm and pleasant
Reviewed By Renata TWe stayed there for 2 days and it was perfect !! The place is simple and the owners were very kind and helpful. You need a car to get there and it's about 30/40 minutes away from Florence (depending on the traffic jam in Florence). If we come back to Tuscany, certainly we will stay there again.

Beautiful home and hospitality
Reviewed By annakc4The home is incredibly beautiful, but has all of the modern amenities. No AC, but fans work well and if you close the shutters, it doesn't get too warm. WiFi in the bedroom isn't great, but works perfectly everywhere else. Ivana's cooking is beyond amazing. She is such a kind person, and her food is so delicious. Arturo is very friendly and welcoming. The views from the dinner table are gorgeous. It's a short and inexpensive train ride to Florence, too.

Villa Le Masse is at 15 km from Florence along the freeway to Livorno/Pisa and is located in a strategic location to visit so many interesting places in central Tuscany in one hour: Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa and the sea. It is surraunded by a private park with a large pool (m. 16x8).

Reviewed By Thibault PLe Masse est un Gîte rural perdu au beau milieu des vignes toscanes. L'accueil par les propriétaires fût agréable ( parlent anglais ou italien seulement). Le logement pour 6 était propre, neuf avec un décoration agréable. Le gîte était à 10 mètres de la piscine qui n'est pas surexploitée. Les parties extérieures sont agréables et entretenues, un barbecue est mis à la disposition des clients ainsi qu'un accès WIFI. Seul regret le manque d'équipement, une cafetière électrique, un four à micro-ondes, un vrai salon de jardin. Mis à part l'équipement, les prestations sont tout a fait correctes. Les deux salles de bains étaient propres les lits confortables et faits à l'arrivée. Prévoir des produits répulsifs anti-moustiques et supplément ménage (15€pp).

A lovely week in the Hills
Reviewed By Rennie1A lovely villa set among olive groves in the Tuscan hills. The views are great both morning and night and it is a very peaceful and quiet place to spend a week. In terms of the property itself it is really set up for two couples to share (as we did), the bedrooms are fine with a shower room each although the one minor complaint is that the mattresses were very hard! Otherwise lots of room in the kitchen (well equipped) and the upstairs living area. You can tell that a bit of investment has been made over recent time to get it ready for the tourist trade. The real attraction is the pool area which is a great sun trap. Again the one complaint would be that the water was freezing and it would have been nice to have a heated pool, or at least the Jacuzzi part....The coldness of the water put us off a bit. In terms of location it is very well positioned for Florence, Vinci, Pisa etc, easy to get find and a nice place to chill out.
