Reviewed By Bulgani1I booked a suite on 5th.Floor for approx Rs.8500/- x 3 days. With exception to King Bed and Aircon, everything is sub-standard. Toilet is blocked, water fills up in toilet floor within 1 min of taking bath. Wash basin does not drain water. THE ENTIRE PLUMBING SYSTEM IS BLOCKED !!!. I complained, nothing happened, so gave up. Morning complimentary breakfast is pathetic. Service is poor because of lack of trained hospitality staff. Positives: location proximity to market. King size bed & Aircon. + mini fridge. Negatives : everything else

Reviewed By Inquisitive_87Set amidst nature,it was definitely a wonderful experience to stay at this Lodge.However,wish they provide room heaters also in the rooms.It was terribly cold and it was a challenge to keep oneself warm.Though an initiative of the Mizoram Government,it lacks basic facilities like room heaters,tea/coffee maker.They can charge a nominal amount for providing these facilities.Mizoram is quite cold in winters.The investment in Quartz heaters will not cost a bomb.They are available at reasonable prices these days.The breakfast and lunch/dinner can definitely be improved.There are no eating places nearby.It would be nice if they improve on this front.In terms of location,it is good.Wish they also have a tie up with some local tourist operators who understand English/Hindi which they can recommend to tourists .It is not easy to get tourist taxis in Mizoram like in other places.Language is also a problem there.That is why,if the Tourist Lodge personnel can help the tourists in booking taxis,the visit to Mizoram can be enjoyed to the maximum.Mizoram is indeed a natural beauty with so much of greenery and blue skies.

The Tourist Resort here is just what your body and soul are asking for! Serene, green, natural, out-of-doors cafe patio, lovely people and nice walks!

However, there doesn't seem to be any training in housekeeping or restaurant practice--each day, what they do varies depending on who's on duty. For instance, housekeeping will sometimes replenish the soap and shampoo and tea supplies, sometimes not. And restaurant doesn't supply napkins unless you ask. And the wifi is woeful. My first two days, and last few days, it was OK--the middle few days, awful.

Reviewed By BBHH88I absolutely recommend this hotel. The manager is a very nice person and you will feel welcomed. The cuisine is delicious and very reasonably priced. The rooms are confortable but the best thing is the location. It is located atop a small hill : amazing view, very quiet place but still in the town center. And it’s a bargain too !

Reviewed By Movieclips AEven if you have to stay in this hotel, please do not stay in room no. 201. It is adjacent to the road and vehicles will ply on the road whole night and it will really disturb your sleep. Very noisy. The guy who booked hotel for me did not get rooms in other hotel and kept me here. There are other better hotels in Aizawl. If at all you have to stay in this hotel, please select room no. 310. Regards Ngaihte.

Reviewed By kipgunNot the hotel to be lodged in if you expect to have a nice view of aizawl city. However, if cleanliness is a non-negotiable for u, this is the place. The rooms are clean and have all the basic amenities (TV, water heater etc.) Steer clear of the corner room on the first floor, as the neighbours have chicken coops on the Terrace(which can really disturb your sleep ?) The staff and owners are very friendly and always ready to help. I didn't eat at the hotel much, except for breakfast. Which was so-so. Nothing too great to rave about. Overall a nice stay
