We are an eight room boutique resort in the midst of the jungle. Built on temple architecture style using natural stone, the design, atmosphere and the location is stunning. You have to come to experience Avadale Masinagudi. It is a Paradise in the forest.

Reviewed By satyakib2022It was a great experience & hospitality in Masinigudi Avadale in all respect, except once when the hotel personnel completely missed to give us wake up call or escort (as discussed last night) us to Jeep in the early morning for Private Safari & did not even receive our call and we had to move to Jeep on our own

This is a 3.5 Acres property, We have 8 luxury rooms... The Bungalow (Standard Room) has 4 rooms with 10ft wide porch,all round the bungalow with wooden flooring rooms & Jaguar fitted bathrooms, beautiful sit out towards the forest & foothills of Nilgiris (Ooty). Secondly the Wood House(Deluxe Room) has 4 rooms facing the foot hills of Nilgiris & mudumalai forest. Built of wood all round

I have had the best Rasam in my entire life at this place. The resort manager Mansoor sir makes sure you feel at home. Staff is very kind Rajesh sir, Karthik sir, Mani sir and all the talented chefs in the place are an amazing team. Very near to the town safe place for couples and family to visit. If you are nature lover and love watching clouds pass by mountains n number of hours then this is the place. A very neatly maintained garden, clean rooms and bathrooms, birds chirping all over the property all the time and a swing that is sturdy enough to bear the weight of adult (grin). Looking forward for another stay with a bigger family soon. Thank you NEST IN for the pleasant and happy stay

A Trip to Misty Grove
Reviewed By 09DukeRecently, we stayed at Misty Grove Resort for a sum total of 3 days. My mother’s friend recommended this hotel and it was our quick plan to cool down after my board exams. Down hills of Nilgiris, Misty Grove is a small joint with nice ambiance and nice staffs. As an accommodation, Misty Grove comes highly recommended. Having a family-friendly environment designed with independent villas, the ambience comes highly rated by my parents who appreciated the posh accommodation. A small game room, a park with swing, a fish pond and bonfire, which me and my sister engaged in the “resort”. Though a small resort, I really enjoyed the cleanliness and their hospitality is commendable. Amongst the staff, Mr. Baldwin (Uncle), the PRO who helped us and spared time to personally guide us to various viewpoints and landmarks, is greatly appreciated for his kind and amiable demeanor. Some other notable staff members were Mr. Mathew, who is the GM was always there at the front desk when in need, Mr. John handling the reception with a welcoming smile and Mr. Kurian from the Front Gate, all of whom were very friendly and hospitable. The service staff especially Mr. Sajeev and Mr. Jayakumar accommodated us extremely well at the dine. The food was also appetizing. All in all, our accommodation at Misty Grove was top class and we definitely recommend it.

Rooms were good . I suggest you take the Bamboo made rooms .. ... Best wishes guyz....

this is a home stay not a resort
Reviewed By SharanuPatilI was here with my family and friends around new year (Dec 30 2017 to Jan 2nd 2018) , we took lot of time to research and finalize on this place. here are few things you should consider 1.This is not a resort , its homestay , managed by a enthusiastic entrepreneur . 2.The rooms we stayed were neat and big 3.BIG DISAPPOINTMENT is food n hygiene of kitchen , its all men who smoke everywhere and kitchen is very poorly maintained , one can clearly see.(we were told these were part time cooks) there arent any choice for food items , and every time we literally waited with empty plates. 4.they went over and beyond to keep us happy with whatever resources they had. 5.If you are travelling with kids one should be careful about steps as rooms are are level 1(though certain cottages r there on ground floor) 6.There arent any ice places to eat neither in masinagudi town(which si about 1 km from this place) , one should go to Ooty only few nice things: 1.nice place to lazying around doing nothing, though there some good scenic places nearby (some dam etc) 2.its a farm with some pet animals kid can enjoy . 3.Young and receptive entrepreneur managing this property Suggestion: please ask your staff not to smoke in common areas keep kitchen clean n neat improve the food quality and variety

Our resort is located in beautiful jungle surroundings at the foothills of the gorgeous Blue Mountains of Nilgiris near the famous hill station of Ooty, bordering a jungle stream-wherein fresh water flows down from the mountains. The resort is located within the beautiful Nilgiris Biosphere which is a tri-junction of Mudumalai wildlife sanctuary in Tamilnadu, Bandipur in Karnataka and Wynad wildlife sanctuary in Kerala making it one of the largest evergreen forest tracts in India at an altitude of 1000m above sea level. Normally, the climate is very pleasant with zero pollution in lush green and refreshing surroundings. Tree Top House- It’s truly rustic, thrilling and adventurous! The feel of staying on a Tree, more than 20 feet in the air with stunning view of the beautiful Blue Mountains of Nilgiris amidst sparkling streams, lush green forest, teeming wildlife and much more. It’s surely a promise of a most memorable and unforgettable holiday experience in the wild.

Nice cozy resort with limited independent Cottage
Reviewed By KSSkanthWent for a short holidays (3 days) with family to this resort. Though this is the last resort in the street, the entrance itself was very good and greenery all around the campus. It has 6 or 7 independent cottages with a quite ambience and adequate distance between each of them. (Social distancing made ready!!) Neat rooms and bathrooms even after pandemic has affected their business for almost 16 months. Each of the cottage has a open air sit out in the front to meet & eat. Though limited indoor games facilities inside the campus, it has a few good outdoor facilities. Their cricket nets were good and small swimming pool is a nice place to hangout. They have buggy which can be driven in the open ground nearby to enjoy the terrain rides, its charged on hourly basis. Their high raise viewpoint gives a good complete view of the locality. Food was excellent and we were vegetarians. Breakfast could be better as they serve limited menu and mostly same every day. Break fast may need to be a buffet and should add Breads, juices for kids. Staff were courteous. We were fortunate to look at the tiger T23 captured from the forests during our visit on that day. Overall a memorable stay at Masinagudi and worth a try.
