Reviewed By Fiona RWe booked this villa at the last minute 30th April 2017 for a week as the place we were ment to stay in with our friends was unacceptable. Well weren't we glad what a find. We had the apartment at the top of the building the views were fantastic and we had a full wrap around balcony so we had the sun all day, with views of the sea and the surrounding hills. The apartment is self catering and bar just a few tweeks like additional sofa in the longe/kitchen and mirrors in the bedrooms plus luggage stand the place was perfect. The Acquasuite only opened in 2017 and is well worth a stay. The East coast of Italy is primarily the destination for the Italians to have a holiday and I now know why they are keeping it their secret it is stunning we only ever heard one other English speaking couple and that was our friends ?. It was a great base to stay also to drive round the region up into the hills and visit other small towns. We shall definitely be making a return visit. One last thing the season for the East Coast does not start until June so it was very quiet and most bars and restaurants were not yet open however those that were were good. The pool was not open and the use of air conditioning was not allowed until the powers that be in the local government said it was warm enough to use ( it was warm at 26 for us Brits). The staff were very helpful and friendly and they keep the place perfect.

No AC! The pictures is totally different in person!
Reviewed By mrs_smoochFirst of all there is no AC in the room..my family stay here for overnight and it's just the most terrible place to stay.. When we get to the room there is only 1 light! Just one imagine that? We stayed on a handicapped room where you will just push the door and can get out easily. Not good with children so we had to put the cabinet so they can't get out.. As a traveller all I need is a good AC! Because of my 2 kids! Oh well for this hotel!! We went and complained that the is is not working.. And she said that it starts working 6pm!! Imagine? I guess she is just making an excuse. Anyway they provided a fan. Coz there is no way the AC will work! We booked for €70 but end up paying 90€ for the room because they gave us room with 2 beds! Well it's a handicapped room what do you expect it supposed to have to beds?! The horror is just never ending!! By the way I'm not picky traveller!! As long as there is good AC im good! The only good thing about this hotel is the service at the breakfast. That's it!

A little gem in Abruzzo

The mobile homes are of excellent quality and the services on the site are up to par with any good site. The beach service is a nice plus.

Our bedrooms are equipped with a large balcony and sea view, soundproof walls and frames, beds with anatomic mattresses, wi-fi , LED TV, mini bar, safe and air conditioning. Bathrooms are large, with a spacious shower and hair dryer.

Reviewed By Callum_91_UKI went to stay at Tonino & Silvana's lovely B&B, Il Giardino sul Mare, with my wife, 3 month old son and parents-in-law. and found that both are extremely welcoming hosts, and take great pride in their B&B, ensuring everything is always clean and their guests want for nothing. Even though my wife and her family are Italian and I speak it too, I noticed Tonino speaks incredibly good English and also overheard him having a conversation in German meaning language barriers are in-existent! We decided to choose the apartment for the practicality, given the warehouse of things a newborn needs whilst my in-laws went for a room. Both were fitted with modern facilities and anything extra we needed (microwave for sterilising bottles etc), was never a problem! We chose to include breakfast too as this wasn't included in the apartment and I would advise anyone to do this; the coffee is great (as per the Italian standard) and all food is made in-house and each day held a new array of tasty breakfast treats! The outside area is stunning with an incredibly well kept garden, pool with a fantastic view over the sea and surrounding countryside and lovely sun-bathing area too!. There's often a cool breeze in the afternoon which is quite refreshing. In all, our stay was perfect; Il Giardino Sul Mare is ideal for couples and families alike (including young children). 5 Stars and will definitely be going back!

Nice hotel with a personal touch
Reviewed By Keiri GOur family stayed in 2 different rooms and it was OK, the rooms was clean and nice. However the AC was not working properly in our room, and that was a big minus on some really hot days there. The beach was fantastic! The full board of the hotel was really good, however the starter buffet was not varied enough from day to day. Too many dishes was the same everyday. The breakfast was OK, not great ! The staff at the hotel was so nice and friendly, from the owner all the way to the waiters in the restaurant and the lifeguard at the beach.
