Good option for budget accommodation but no internet

Reviewed By Melinakle

This is a very good option for a budget holidays in Firenze. The houses are nice and clean and modern. Plus there is the option to have the car next to the house. The only drawback is the lack of Wifi and the very poor internet reception. The distance to the center of the city is ok.

Relaxing stay

Reviewed By perrygirl

A lovely gem of a hotel. Loved staying here and would not hesitate to return. Lovely big ceilings, sparkling clean rooms & bathrooms and a filling breakfast. We were checked in by the nicest gentleman who spoke excellent English but was prepared to talk to me in my pathetic Italiano. The rooms have a kettle, teas, coffee and biscuits etc. A mere 4 minute max walk to station if you are walking slowly. The trains to Venice are very frequent and cost less than €2.00 Big tip: when you come to the hotel by train you will come into Mestre station. whatever you do, don’t go up the stairs to exit rather follow the signs towards “Ulloa”. We went out the upstairs exit and got really lost. We crossed over but That side of the train tracks is to be absolutely avoided! So when you arrive at the station stay down below. Once you come up the ramp to the street the hotel is on your left hand side around 150 metres. If that gate is shut then turn left at the corner and you will have the front of the hotel on your left just a few metres away.

Title says it all. Nice place, great location, close to a couple of restaurants that will take groups. I had 23 with me on this tour and things went flawlessly. You do need to be willing to take public transportation and sort of find your way around a little bit but that's what makes it an adventure. Oh yes, amazing breakfasts. Thank you Hotel Adele

Great Hotel with great stafg

Reviewed By RukshanaU

Had a great stay at Belstay. We arrived early and Monica at reception was able to give us access to our room early. This heflped us to get our day started off straight away. Rooms were interconnected for 6 guests. Showers were fab and we had a great sleep. Hotel gave us complimentary drinks vouchers to use at the bar. Breakfast area is newly refurbished and had a good selection. Only downside was no vegetarian meat alternative and no banana's. Bus 6 takes you to Venice main island. Would be useful if a map to bus stop was available, as we got lost on 1st day. You can download AVM Venezia app to purchase 1 day or 3 day tickets.

It was a good hotel ? with a great accessibility. Although they are claiming that they have multi-lingual staff, in the night ? shift the man ? in the reception couldn't speak English. First time visit to Venice, Italy

Reviewed By Mus7866

It was our first ever holiday (me and my 22yr old son) to Venice and our flight landed there at 11.30pm. We made it to the hotel via taxi at approximately 1am. There were two really miserable, moody men at the reception desk who made us feel really unwelcome. The bedroom was not well equipped. No hairdryer, no kettle with tea/coffee making facility. However, the room was big and clean. The bathroom shower was nice and powerful. Cleaner kept leaving our door unlocked for the entire duration of our stay (even though we’d mentioned this to reception desk). Luckily, we took all valuables with us on days out. Breakfast consisted of juice, croissants and coffee - nothing else. No cooked breakfast. The gentleman who worked the day shift was brilliant! Really helpful. This hotel is a popular choice with the locals, who stay when visiting from other parts. Thus the reviews have been good from the locals.

Very nice hotel

Reviewed By claudiud2796

Hotel was really nice, main point that made us to chose it was that it was incredibly close to all stations, we needed to walk 20m to get the bus to Venice, staff was really nice and helpful, the room was big enough and very clean, they changed our sheets and towels daily, we had A/C which is mandatory as the weather is very hot. Breakfast was as expected and seen in other photos and reviews, coffee was really good and at demand you could get more food then the one included for breakfast. The shower cabin might be a little small for a bigger person, for us it was alright
