A very luxurious, palatial hotel
Reviewed By IDHAdelaideStayed at the Maoming International as part of a tour with our children. A very luxurious hotel at a very good price. Staff at reception have very limited English but did their best. Rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and quite modern. It was difficult to find a booking site that would allow us to book this hotel but was finally able to do so through Ctrip.com. Breakfast was adequate but quite limited for those with western tastes. Highly recommended.

High quality and friendly
Reviewed By LawrenceJMWI was worried at first because nobody spoke English. But three staff at the desk eased me through checkin with the aid of translator apps. I was very well attended to. My room was spacious, clean, quiet, and modern — a great deal for the low price I paid. I ate in the hotel restaurant and found the food to be excellent without being overpriced. The service was great— attentive and helpful with the aid of translation apps. I still exchange messages by WeChat occasionally with one of the servers who used WeChat to ask me if my meal was ok after it was served.

This hotel was a surprise
Reviewed By jawa13This was my first trip to Maoming and I didn't expect much. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Nice, clean rooms. Good service. But the biggest issue I had was, nobody spoke English. Even the in the reception were unable to communicate. I could not make a phone call.

A nice designed budget hotel~~
Reviewed By lorettahonGood points: 1. Budget Price: less than 400 RMB for a twin room and breakfast is included. 2. Super clean. 3. Super location: Opposite to the People's Square. There are alot of restaurants around. 15 minutes walk to the High Speed Railway Station. 10 minutes walk to the main shopping area. 4. Well-designed for the reception area and the room. 5. The room is with a Japanese "Muji" style. 6. The bedding is super comfortable. 7. The hotel provides Electronic bidet in the bathroom. 8. Spacious room. I only have 2 complaints: 1. The room is a little bit dim even you turn on all the lights. 2. The breakfast have a wide range of choices, but there are no western options.
