The staff is very friendly and helped us with everything we needed, the restaurant offers a good variety and is reasonably priced. You can hire a small motor boat or a kayak, play tennis, use the pool and gym, or just enjoy the very clear water at the beach.

Odd financial arrangements
Reviewed By sssj8We booked to stay 10 months in advance but cancelled within a few days of the booking as we decided to stay at another part of the island to suit our travel arrangements. We were able to cancel without charge but were then asked for our bank account details even though the deposit (which we disputed was payable) was taken from the credit card , details of which were given at the time of booking. In all our years of travelling we have never been asked for bank account details to be provided in this way and for this purpose. It was appropriate and normal for the repayment to be made to the credit card but this establishment said it was not possible and refused to do this, insisting that bank account details be provided. What kind of establishment does this? There was nothing on the booking conditions that made it clear that repayment of the deposit would be done in this way. After many phone calls and emails, the booking company repaid the amount to us and said it would recover the money from th establishment. So beware of this odd and inappropriate financial policy of this establishment. Glad we're not staying there!

Appartamento molto accogliente, pulito e ben tenuto, lo si può considerare come nuovo. Consigliato, voto 10. Spero di ritornarci il prox anno. A Mixed experiecne and a bad surprise at checkout
Reviewed By 188mohammedbRooms are clean & comfortable, the showers were disappointing as it is a narrow plastic cabin. Shower gel & shampoo were only provided the first day & in a very tiny quantity. Rooms don’t have an iron nor has the reception which is a tad surprising & disappointing. The staff are very friendly & helpful despite the communication issues as we speak very little Italian & most of the staff don't speak any English. The pool: the hotel page says it has a seasonal swimming pool & 2 beach bars which is not the case. When we asked we were told “They are in other locations”. The hotel’s page & our booking both say "cooked-to-order breakfast" included which turns out to not be the case. At the checkout, a receptionist asked us to pay for all the breakfasts except 1 coffee & 1 croissant each. Obviously, we disagreed as this was included & paid for. They then changed their version & said we only need to pay for orders after 10h30 without any signed or timestamped receipt as one would expect from a decent hotel. We had a few dinners & drinks at the restaurant & we were given a bill every time & the payment was made straight after like everywhere. The breakfast misadventure was an exception, why do they hold this until checkout & without any signed receipt? Is this intentional or just amateurism? I can’t tell. Also, the hotel was not able to provide us a checkout bill like other hotels. They said "they don't do this" The receptionist also declined to give us a passport until they check that "nothing is stolen" as she said!

administrative mishap with consequences
Reviewed By RP-NetherlandsWe had booked a Friday and Saturday night. After payment this was conformed by booking.com. On the Thursday we received an email, which we read on Friday. In the mail Antonella informed us that she made a mistake and had planned out stay on Thursday and Friday. She would provide a solution for the Saturday night. When we got to L'Aglientu we had mixed feelings: we were happy with the Agriturismo, which we had booked and paid for, but unhappy about the fact that we could only stay one night and had to pack our bags and move again the following morning. The accomodation of L'Aglientu is nice, the rooms are large, the airco works well and the rooms are nicely decorated. The pool is very small and there were only 4 beds to lie on. Not enough for an 8 room accomodation. Breakfast was fine. For our second night we were offered a room in Antonella's new B&B in Olbia city. A nice room in a nice house in a nice city. The big mistake is that when the house was renovated and turned into a B&B, the guest rooms were not equipped with airco. The heat in our room was unbearable and we didn't sleep at all. There was a ceiling fan throwing hot air around, which does nothing for your comfort if it is far too hot. By the time it was cool outside we opened the windows, but there is a lot of noise from the streets. We had breakfast at 7 AM in the kitchen downstairs, which was much cooler than the bedroom. The thermometer on the kitchen wall read 30 degrees, at 7 AM! Looking at the house when we got into the car, we spotted 1 airco unit, fitted to the wall of the room where Antonella's family sleep. So our room was nice but far too hot. The bathroom was also nice but there was no hot water. We took a cold shower in the evening, and another cold shower at 6h30 AM, to cool off because the room was so hot. We asked Antonella for some compensation for the fact that we had to move, but there was no such thing, she told us the city B&B was more expensive....... Altogether not the way one would like to spend the last night of one's holiday.
