Reviewed By ManojBalluIt was the most wonderful stay on our first part of Nagaland Tour. Absolutely stunning location. Spacious ,clean and well decorated rooms with old world charm and modern amenities. Saff was respectful , helped us for sight seeing and in and around hotel. Special mention of Ranjit and Gopal for their ever smiling faces and helping all'the tlme for even small things . Last but not the least ,the captain of the ship Mr. Aneesh, G M. Who upgraded us on our simple request and his culinary skills .Hats off to his mouth watering dishes which never let us recall home food .He is a true aasset for any organisation. Hospitality is synonymous with Niraamaya.I Only recommend this property for KOHIMA stay. Thanks for making our experience truly majestic and enthralling.

Reviewed By Srinivasan22I stayed in Hotel Ariel for 2 nights on 8/12 and 9/12 The hotel is well maintained. Staff courteous and prompt in service. The vegetarian food was indeed a surprise , did not expect such a good fare .The hotel occupies 2nd and 3rd floor of the building and location is not traffic wise congested Generator back up is provided. Would heartily recommend this hotel for Kohima visit

Great Budget Stay
Reviewed By ShrutiJanuAffordable, clean, comfortable and hot water! Besides being located in a very central location, being close to markets, restaurants and taxi stands; the hotel staff is very friendly, kind and helpful. They helped us arrange a reasonable valued cab for Dzukou Valley trek and also offered keep some of our luggage to help reduce our weight. Breakfast is reasonable. Definitely recommend it. Booked via makemytrip.

Reviewed By Kim GLovely people Ageing perhaps at the wings and with virtually no internet (but that's the case for the whole neughbourhoid it seems), the Vivor hotel is graced with a wonderful staff and a rather good cook. Excellent service. A pity though that it is located on the far side of Kohima and that the traffic jams going into town are a wonder to behold (or not!)...

Helpful and arranged walking tour of nearby village as well as driver and your guide George who's driving and your skills are unmatched. Open hearth fire warms the kitchen where tasty food is prepared. Great experience.

Very basic old hotel
Reviewed By IanDeb55Rooms are small with no bedside tables or lights, noisy and a very small ensuite shower room with a shower that only lasts 10 mins and sprays over toilet and wash-hand basin. The electric shower plug and sockets were close to the shower head - not safe! There was no hot water to the wash basin - had to use a jug and bucket. rugs and mats were filthy. On first night sheets were not clean and bed was hard. Sheets did get replaced the second night.There was no heating throughout the hotel apart from a couple of small radiant heaters. Everywhere was freezing at night. We sat in restaurant in full winter outdoor clothing and needed the same in bed! the hotel seemed not be be used to providing meals and our group were the only people eating. The hotel is located in a dark side street and not withing walking distance to town. The only positive was the the staff were friendly and tried to help within the constraints of the hotel which badly needs renovating.

Reviewed By RenithOne of the best hospitable stays in the region. The home run by Dr. Kenny is in one of the most picturesque locations in Kohima, Nagaland. The place is well maintained and offers the best food in the north east. The rooms are well maintained and serves free breakfast as part of the package (Do check on other requirements during the booking). Caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The place is in the heart of the town and has easy access to local markets and attractions.

Located 10 minutes away from the city, Alder Retreat is the ideal place for travelers who want to get away from the rush and pollution of the city. The rooms are made of 70% wood and the property is placed with a scenic view of Kohima.
A small but worth the stay place
Reviewed By kejarokopIts a new property but with experience staff and nice cozy rooms. There are about 5 rooms with a restaurant on the top. Parking space available and easily accessible to town. Had put my guest Mario Testino, the famous photographer and his crew last December and they had a good time there.

Reviewed By NafisaA67I have stayed at the Kite Manja campsite at the Hornbill festival more than once. They provide authentic camping experiences throughout Northeast India. One of their specialities is that they always promote locals food and beverages in the campsite which also provide travellers with an opportunity to learn and explore different food and cultural experiences. Their style is as real as it could get! I have trusted them for 7 yrs now and they haven´t let me down. Best campsite I know. Also their knowledge of the destinations, explorative options and folk culture is out of the world. I recomend everyone to stay with Kitemanja.
