This family-run hotel, recently refurbished to high standard, has nine en-suite rooms. We have a selection of double, twin, single or family sized rooms to cater for all needs.
Had an overnight stay here as I was in the area visiting. The room was huge and definitely value for money! Nice quiet area and the staff are very friendly, had lunch which was amazing and a breakfast the next morning which was a bonus as it was included with the room. Nothing negative to say at all although the room keyring attached to the key was the size of a headstone ? thanks again to the team for their excellent service.

Lodge accommodation. Both self catering and catered options available. Situated in the Angus glens, this is the ideal spot for outdoors enthusiasts, with doorstep access to stunning scenery, wildlife, fishing, ski, golf and cycling opportunities. The lodge is also perfect for a relaxing getaway, a special anniversary or party, for catching up with family and friends or for a romantic break.
We spent a wonderful weekend with Anne and Gareth and felt very comfortable at the lodge. The simple dinner was fantastic and the service from Anne and her family was very friendly. We can warmly recommend the lodge.

Stayed in The Old Cow Byre (no cheeky comments please) for 5 nights in November 2021. What beautiful accommodation, with every home comfort! As well as lovely underfloor heating on the ground floor, a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and airer, it also has a stunning open-plan seating area incorporating a big farmhouse kitchen table which easily accomodated 8, well equipped kitchen with plenty of work space and a minstrel gallery from which we could have been serenaded, had we thought to bring a minstrel! Next time! From the gorgeous hot tub in the private courtyard, we were able to enjoy beautiful sunsets, complete with a glass of bubbly in hand. What more could a group of retired Home Economists wish for! The beds were exceedingly comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Every day, we explored the surrounding countryside, walking to the stunning Reekie Linn Falls and back one day, just in time to enjoy delicious, freshly baked scones in the farm cafe. Nearby Kirriemuir, 'Gateway to the Glens', is a lovely old town, birthplace of J.M. Barrie, creator of Peter Pan. The owners of Peel Farm could not have been more friendly or helpful while their staff went above and beyond the call of duty. The gift shop is a MUST!! We loved everything about this beautiful location and cannot wait to return !!! Thank-you Claire, Darcy and co. X

4 star quiet farm accommodation with lovely views of the countryside The Angus glens have good walking areas spot the wildlife Glamis castle 20mins from the farm Our farm has been in the family since 1904 cattle and sheep graze on the Brankam hill .Three ensuite bedrooms one twin one family and a super king size all with tv s and coffee or tea tray In rooms Toileteries in the bathrooms also bath robes.
We loved Purgavie Farm and stayed in the double room with the king bed which was super comfy. Photos don’t do room justice, it is a good size with a lovely rural view from the windows. Bathroom is next door but private to the room so no worries and also has a lovely bath. Breakfast was lovely with fresh raspberries and strawberries provided and homemade yoghurt. Moira was very friendly and helped with all our questions. Would highly recommend.

Our luxury accommodation comprises one large room with king size bed and private shower room and one double room with en suite shower facilities both boasting flat screen TV/DVD, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer, mini fridge, bath robes and complimentary toiletries.
Excellent accommodation with delicious top quality breakfasts, cakes etc and evening meals. More like a top class hotel than a B&B. Maggie couldn’t have been more accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.
