A good place to stay; some practical remarks
Reviewed By MarcelTravellerOn the 18th of May in 2018 we stayed a night in this hotel in twinroom 1113. The Hami hotel is a large hotel, in an eastern quarter of Hami at the end of a dead end street. A very quiet location. As always in Xinjiang, there is a safety check with a barrier before the hotel. Some remarks about this hotel. 1. The hotel is 15 minutes by car from the train station. The hotel has a very large reception. An older lady from the staff at the reception speaks a little English. In the reception is also a bakery shop with bread and pastries. We can recommend a visit! 2. The twin room we had was clean, large and rather luxurious, with airco, a good shower, enough lights and darkening curtains. 3. The hotel has good free wifi. 4. The restaurant for breakfast is very large, a lot of choice in food for a Chinese breakfast, but also bread, yoghurt with cereals and fruit. 5. We succeeded to organize a taxi to visit the Hami Emperors Cemetery of Hui Nationality, the most famous site of Hami. Unfortunately this tomb was closed for an undefined period. 6. In Hami we experienced the most severe check of foreigners by the police in the three weeks we visited Xinjiang. First we had to wait more than an hour at the train station before we could go to our hotel. In the city we twice had a check for about 20 minutes. Friendly policemen, but it takes a lot of your holiday time. Summarized, the Hami hotel is a good place to stay. If we ever would visit Hami again, we would stay in this hotel again.

Reviewed By DLkkkheeWe were on the Silk Road tour from Urumqi to Xian and am pretty impressed with the standard of hotels here. Sunshine Hotel is indeed a cheery cosy place for a night. Hard bed as is the norm here. Pampered by the amenities here compared to a European tour_toothbrushes, combs, bedroom slippers, kettle. We were given a welcome fruit plate, a nice surprise.

Reviewed By xiaojiahuo宾馆服务很好，电话订房之后因为交通的问题直到晚上十点钟多才到。电话沟通之后房间得以保留。房间空间很舒服，但是卫生间整体感觉比较旧，看起来不清爽。稍有遗憾。交通很方便。当然哈密城市小小，住任何地方相信都没有不方便的。
