The hotel has its own cafe/restaurant-pots and stones which had delicious food-lots of continental and indian options. The location is perfect- you have every brand outlet and a mall nearby. Would definitely recommend !

The room quality and hotel lobby was good but I got terrible bites by bed bugs, most probably in the fancy cushions next to the pillows. I was told that there is a regular pest control but it seems somehow the cushions escaped that prociture.

Never staying here again
Reviewed By Gautam DAfter a decade of traveling thru Haldwani, I tried a different hotel after many yrs. The reviews were all good and the rate was also good but I would never stay here again. 1) So called premium room I booked had no window (forget about balcony). The glass compartment opens into another dark gallery with other rooms. So you're staying in a room with no ventilation. 2) The lighting is so poor that you can easily damage your eyes just sitting there. Forget about trying to read anything. You will have to turn atleast 10 tiny false ceiling lights and a table lamp in the corner to have somewhat visibility in the already dark and windowless and room with Zero natural light. 3) Bathroom is about to come down. Corners were unkempt, tiles were broken all over the place and the bathroom latch did not work. 4) Parking is in basement and better than on the road parking that exists in most other hotels. Not much you can expect here 5) No option with twin or separate beds. 6) Zero sound proofing. You can hear people breathing in the compound outside. Very noisy if you get late sleepers in adjoining rooms 7) Lift broke down with no staff to attend. Elderly person had to climb four floors with no help from reception 8) The barely functional exhaust fan in the bathroom is controlled by hotel and is turned on and off at their whim. 9) Bathroom is poorly designed, had weird smell, no ventilation or exhaust fan facility you can turn on when needed. 10) Food was absolutely average with very high rates and small portions. At one point their staff told me that they serve half portions which they declined later. All in all, the so called premium room was a dungeon with very dim lighting, no ventilation, no natural light, poor quality food and crumbling bathroom. The obvious Kumaoni hospitality present in other place was missing and only present in the local staff (a server and watchman who were both nice). I would never stay here again and stick to the other hotel. Thankfully I got a very steep discount on Agoda so I let it slide as a one time bad experience. Stay at your own risk. :)

Reviewed By Ashok NI had a great experience at hotel silver palace, Haldwani during my stay there in november 2019.I think its a comparatively new property , and is well maintained. It's well located , just a ten minutes walk from the bus stand, at Sindhi chowraha. The check in experience was smooth and in a few minutes i was in my room. The room and the toilet are neat and clean. Fresh towel soap and even a chappal are provided. Food is excellent, whatever i have ordered, rotis, rice, dal, jeera aalu, tea, coffee were all very tasty. Aloo parathas are good for breakfast, but more than one will be too heavy! The staff is very polite and service oriented. I would not think of another hotel whenever i am at Haldwani. Absolutely value for money.

This is my third stay 2 stay was ok but 3rd one Worth there is many problems in the room showr not working properly whole night water dipping in the washroom TV not working properly bed set condition very bed I called in front desk atleast 7 to 8 time it was very Worth stay inn the hotel.
