Pleasant stay if you are not fussy
Reviewed By scissors02First oversea trip after 2 years, road trip from Spore to Genting. Good experience in the room, breakfast limited for vegetarian, cleanliness ok and crowded at that June period. Will need to wait for some time to take the lift, recommend to get a room higher than 25th floor, it will benefit you when you want take lift down (if you know what I mean). Also there is no towel in the room, have to call for it. There were also no plates and cutlery in the room. The washing machine create a foul smell on clothes after washed and dried. Overall was a pleasant stay if you are not fussy, please read all latest google map comments on this hotel to get the expectations you will get there.

Unforgivable Carpark
Reviewed By ToninkushThis was not my first time here. Was surprised that the resort charges its own guests for parking now. And it's not cheap, RM3 per hour, for an old dodgy carpark that is still not connected to the hotel itself but also had the signs pointing wrong directions to the lobby. Also, they locked doors to the staircases they shouldn't have and didn't block off parts they should, which was frustrating, unsafe and confusing at night. I ended up spending almost RM100 on parking alone in this trip for less than 48 hours. On top of all that, the autopay machine only accepts cash notes below RM50. #pengsanman As for the room, well, there were typical problems as well. The balcony plants still had cigars and cigarette butts in them and it smells like smoke. The air cond remote didn't work. The colour indication for the hot/cold water is correct for sink but incorrect for the shower. Sigh... the WiFi is not very consistent either. I was also disappointed that all the sports activities are no longer available and are demolished for construction. The photos on Agoda made me think they still exist. Felt like I was scammed. Thankfully, the pool is still heater although the jacuzzi portion is never on anymore :(

Reviewed By _subhaaaThe check-in to my room which was in Tower 4 was a long winding way and often confusing. Would have been better if there were staff present in each Tower to guide/ check-out process. The room & amenities were good. Unfortunately our view was blocked by construction and often gets noisy if we open the sliding door to the balcony. Would have been better if they offered us a card for parking cause we have to go to front desk every time we want to take the car in/out. There’s a convenience store outside the hotel and a few restaurants within the hotel. Overall, I believe it could have been better experience.

New hotel, fresh and clean

Don't take the room facing the road, due to the long stretch of road, the motors and cars tend to press the pedal and revv. Breakfast was good, and area was very spacious and open. Swimming is clean and very nice for children. The bad thing about the quad room is the toilet transparency film where its partially see thru. If u stay in the quad room with your friends.. They can see u semi , so beware.

Sky D’Mont Suites is prestigiously located at the top of Genting Highlands which is 6,000 feet above sea level and nestled within the Titiwangsa Mountain Range. With comfortable and cooling weather of around 16-22 degree celsius all year long. It is only 55km (1 hour drive) from the Kuala Lumpur City Centre and situated less than 3km away from the famous Sky Avenue and SkyWorlds Theme Park.

Reviewed By suryaadiputra39It was a good stay here. I like the room and balcony, if its not rainy you can see a beautifull view. Check in time is quite flexible and in unique way. My son need to pass the code before get the keys ? They have small warm indoor swimming pool. Have daily room cleaning too. You need to book shuttle bus to genting mall earlier, or its gonna full. Overall is a nice stay.

Super bad service from a staff name Shermaine/Charmaine
Reviewed By Camper25243989638Had a super bad experience with a Malay receptionist called Shermaine/Charmaine working on 1st May at 2pm. She shouldn’t be working in hospitality line if she don’t even have a basic manner of being helpful and polite, moreover she’s at the front desk. Luckily we had met the front line manager name Ku, who is extremely nice and helpful to assist us.

Reviewed By sunwaycaseyThe resort looks neat and beautiful where is surrounded by vegetation. When the first time we drive to this resort, we were scared of where is quite an outskirt location. But not too bad is not that deep into drive-in is just about 5 min from that small little town. In fact, is a really convenient location which near to those shops from the little town They take the SOP seriously where they did maintain the social distancing, scan our My Sejahtera apps, and provide us the hand sanitizer. We were greeted by the guard who are very friendly and dedicated. The room in GRV was the great one, very huge like a suite room with wide space, beautiful view and the shower heater was working perfectly with high pressure. The receptionist by the name of Fazila (who work in this property for 3 years plus) who handle our check-in and check-out process was efficient with a courtesy maner and helpful. We will never forget of Fazila's hospitality that she demonstrated. Keep up the good work Fazila and her team.

Good place for family activities
Reviewed By Jennyf00Booked via Agoda (Flash Suites). The entrance a bit confusing as the lobby is located behind after Swiss Garden lobby. You need to check-in first to get your access card to parking and the unit. There is a few parking space in front of their lobby. Deposit RM200 (cash/bank transfer only). You may park at level 2 or 3. Choose the lift that going to your floor and upon exit the lift go to the direction of the block given. For the kitchen, they have fridge, washer dryer machine, water boiler, pot, electric stove, cutlery (except chopstick). For the room, they have towel, hair dryer, iron, body and hair shampoo. Turn on the router to get wifi. The kitchen hub in my unit not able to turn on but that’s fine, I’ll just open the balcony door when we cook. The water heater have to turn on awhile before using it. Better just take a quick bath as the water will turn not so warm after 5-10mins. You can close the water awhile to let it “re-heat” and repeat, if you want. The check-in & out process was smooth. Overall, I enjoy my stay.

All suites offer air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV, hair dryer, iron and private bathroom with free toiletries. We also provide basic cooking utensils, plates, spoons, forks, a microwave oven and electric stove for simple cooking. There is also a refrigerator for you to store your food and drinks. In addition, we also have a washing machine and dryer in the unit for your laundry need.

Since its at the base of Genting, the weather was not cold but warm. Not the choice of accommodation for me unfortunately. Find a full fledged hotel which provides all the necessities

Bring your own towel
Reviewed By sharon1427Stood in line for 45min to check in. No chairs provided at all. There are 2 keycards - one for public areas like carpark and lobby and another for the apartment itself. Only 1 set provided so whoever coming back later will have to ask your friend/family member to come down to the lobby to let you into the building. RM400/night is not backpacker price yet basics like towels were not provided. Complained to front desk. They said "Ök maam, we take note" but NOTHING done at all. Got shampoo, soap and disposable toothbrushes - but no towels. No coffee nor tea either. Bring your own provisions. Wifi was terrible. Reception was on-off. Could not stream anything. On the plus side, the apartment was clean and all furniture and electricals like the kettle and refrigerator worked fine. (Did not try out the induction cooker or microwave) Water pressure was good and heater was fine. 10min walk to Genting Permai shops and 10 min drive to Genting Premier Outlets/ Awana Sky Station. But unless I was really desperate, I will not return for another stay.
