The Alcantara Charming Resort is set in the beautiful valley of Alcantara, 7 Km. away from Taormina and very close to the magnificent gorges of Alcantara. The resort has 21 rooms, all them arranged in sicilian style and all of them are spacious and bright, classically furnished and equipped with private bedroom, mini-bar, piped music, TV with satellite channels, Internet Wi-fi.

Reviewed By IngMadeWe just returned from a very lovely week in Sicily at the Alcantara Resort. The resort is situated just outside of Gaggi with a beauriful view on the Etna. The rooms are situated in small houses each with it’s own balcony/terrace. We had half board which was splendid. The food from Agata was really a treat. No need to search for a restaurant every evening. In a nice atmosphere with such great service. The team, is so great, we were really pampered and felt very welcome. Every problem if any at all, would be solved immediately. It was really a huge 5 star well earned and deserved. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. If you want to visit some nice places nearby the receptionist can advise you in this.

La Porta dell'Alcantara B&B is located in Gaggi, via Principe 12. Gaggi can be found in the centre of the surrounding tourist towns of the Ionic coast of Sicily, situated 15km from Taormina and Giardini Naxos and 7km from the Gole Alcantara, a beautiful natural reserve easy to reach by car, bus or by arranging an excursion with one of our reccomended tour guides. The near by cities of Catania (Apx 40km, 30 mins by car) and Messina (Apx 50km, 40 mins by car) are also easy to reach thanks to the frequent buses and trains in the local area, or again through one of our trustie excursionists.Every room has independent access, with a private balcony and every comfort neccessary for an unforgettable stay. Our objective is to combine the relax and comfort of a hotel with the advantageous price of a B&B. La Porta dell'Alcantara is furnished in traditional Sicilian style which will amaze you with lots of pleasurable surprises.

Reviewed By 386ralphkI arrived quite late and I had a small cold etc... I asked for a tee and the host brought me tee, a small cooker, a lemon, honey and a homemade cake to feel better soon. So lovely! Room was perfect, big, very clean, bed was perfect... I definitely recommend this place to stay.

The place is wonderful, I felt home in my room, the owner is kind and professional, the location is just perfect - close to important places like taormina or giardini naxos and you will be also able to visit all the other small towns close to Gaggi. I would love to go back!

A real paradise in Sicily
Reviewed By iconikoIf you like nature and warmth welcome, so you will love Quarto Paradiso B&B, in the Alcantara Valley, Sicily. It is a perfect romantic place for a couple and also a quiet happy place for a family,not far from the noisy and crowded Taormina ! The room were refurbished in an old train station, they are spacious and decorated in a funny Sicilian aristocratic country style. Maria and her husband will make you feel like home and that you are part of the family. The breakfast are huge made of fresh home made food. At night don't miss the eruptions of the Etna Volcano, right in front of your window ! A great place if you want be happy for a reasonable price.
