Reviewed By Ani YThe best thing in Ercolano The place is cozy, actually rooms are smaller than in pictures, but still have everything you need. The hotel has an amazing terrace, we spent there almost every evening. The lounge area, is really worth of staying. The dinning room has an amazing view. Btw you can visit garden right in front of the hotel for free. And if you want you also can buy tickets for the excursion for Herculaneum. The staff is nice, they speak English, so no problem with communication (except the staff in kitchen ?). You have to amazing restaurants nearby, Papamonte,and Rovi...highly recommend. We were extremely pleased with the hotel. It was so nice to come back to such an amazing place.

Very friendly and helpful staff (Rosario, Andrea- just to mention two) and the “Junior Suite” Room in the main Building was special and beautiful. We also had a room in the “Dependance” with the family, which was also absolutely recommendable. The breakfast was included and good. The pool was very good maintained and always a nice “homecoming” after daytrips. Great place for trips to Vesuvio, Naples, Sorrent, Pompeji, Amalfi-Coast and Herculaneum is “next-door”.

I can recommend it in terms of value for money
Reviewed By evelinpoboznaThe hotel itself is a villa built in the 18th century. The building and garden may have been beautiful and very exclusive quite a few years ago. These pictures are still up on the booking.com pictures, but they are not like that today, so if we look at it we felt a little deceived. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lack of staff, possibly a lack of capital for renovation and maintenance. Most of the fountains and parkland in the park area are not operated at all, they are filled with dirty water and there is garbage in several places, though it could be a dazzling park. The pool and surroundings are super. The staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast is very poor, not too fresh, which would be offset if the bread, vegetables and fruits were cut aesthetically more beautifully. We were completely satisfied with our room, which was big, comfortable, clean. Unfortunately the restaurant is not open, there is no lunch or dinner, and several huge rooms are empty and it would be wonderful to have a restaurant. We went to nearby restaurants to eat, we ate incredibly delicious pizzas at the Ro.Vi pizzeria. All in all, value for money is definitely worth booking here and we had a great time, we spent 4 nights here with our toddler.

Lovely B&B, Great base for visiting Ercolano
Reviewed By LisaaavisJust returned from a very enjoyable 2 night stay at the Golden Mile. A great location for visiting Herculaneum and only a short walk to the train station. All the staff at this family run hotel were helpfull polite and friendly. Giving us good advice on local restaurants, transport and anything else we wanted to know. Nothing was too much trouble, even ordering us a takeaway pizza to eat on the terrace on our last night. Our room was very clean with a lovely modern bathroom. A typical Italian buffet breakfast was served in the bright and sunny breakfast room.There's also a lovely terrace at the property which was a great place to sit and relax with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down at the end of a busy day visiting the archilogical sites. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Villa Patrizia is located in the Vesuvio National Park on the historical site of Ercolano, just a short distance from the famous historical site of Pompei and other important tourist destinations of the Campania province (Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano). It's a villa which provides three guest rooms overlooking the Gulf of Naples. The rooms are tastefully decorated, all equipped with comforts such as LCD TV, air conditioning, private bathroom with hydro-massage shower. The property has a spacious hall for breakfast, safe, mini-bar, free WiFi zone and private parking. For the guests we arrange transfers to and from the airport or the train station and also delightful visits to the most interesting sights in the area.

Giampaulo was an excellent host, answering our many questions and making us feel very welcome with his warm nature and sense of hospitality. This B & B was conveniently located near both Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii which was ideal for us.

Highlight of a multi-city European trip
Reviewed By Emily VWow! My husband and I booked four nights at Casa Raiola for two reasons: It was close to Vesuvius and it had good reviews. I had no idea when I booked that we had just made a very wise choice. When we arrived, we were given the warmest welcome. The hosts took our bags, showed us around, offered beverages. I wasn't expecting such wonderful hospitality, and after a long journey to Ercolano, I immediately felt relaxed. I cannot speak more highly of the people who run this beautiful bed and breakfast. Absolutely delightful and kind people. The hosts also helped us arrange transportation to and from Pompeii and Vesuvius. We are not Italian speakers, and so their guidance and help was invaluable. And they made coffee and breakfast every morning in a beautiful downstairs cellar. The coffee was so good. The place itself: Gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom was fabulous. Everytime I showered, I felt like I was stepping into an Italian spa. And the decor and view takes your breath away. I cannot believe how affordable it is to stay here. Luxury experience at the price of a basic hotel. If you're thinking about a trip to Vesuvius and Pompeii, stop thinking about it. Just book it. Seriously. On this trip, we visited Madrid, Paris, Rome, Geneva, and Ercolano. Casa Raiola was by far the most beautiful and memorable (and cheapest, somehow) place we stayed. Thank you for an unforgettable, beautiful, and welcoming trip.

A little Gem
Reviewed By 900jojofWe stayed here for 1 night after arriving at Naples airport. As our flight was a late one we didn't fancy driving into Naples in our rental car so booked Villa Battista which is kn the outskirts. First impression of the building was not great as it looks run down, with graffiti on the facade. But once the door into the central courtyard opened it was lovely. We parked there for €5 for the night as it was safe and secure. Both bedrooms were clean, spacious and everything worked great. Breakfast in the morning was a continental type which was tasty and we ate on the terrace with fabulous views. On a side note of your looking for a nice, very reasonably priced meal the restaurant literally 100 metres outside the hotel on the left is excellent. Would highly recommend staying at Villa Battista.

A 1 minutes du site à visiter. En centre ville quelques voitures mais sans déranger. Exceptionnelle !!!
