We always have an apartment when we visit and it ticks every box for us! The staff are so helpful, the hotel is clean, the apartment has everything we need, brilliant facilities (especially the dishwasher!!) the washing machine and all so clean!! The pool etc is wonderful (the only thing I would say is maybe more shade for the rooftop loungers - it’s a real sun trap) we really feel like it’s our second home! So handy for the beach but also easy to get into Jesolo. We prefer Eraclea because it’s quiet but still lots of lovely restaurants and entertainment. Don’t book anywhere else. This is now our 4th time! The staff in the local supermarket and shop are wonderful - so patient with our lack of Italian language. Can’t wait to get back! ??? We didn’t visit in August 2021, the last time(because of Covid) was August 2020. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Family holiday 2022

Reviewed By Familyof6andsometime

After reading reviews I wanted to give an up to date review. We have had a fantastic holiday staying on site here and would very much come back. Having had our morning flight cancelled, we ended up arriving in the evening and took a taxi from the airport rather than the planned bus. As not pre booked this cost us 80 Euros. Reception was busy when we arrived and was slow to check in, so do arrive prepared to wait. We have eaten in the restaurant most days and everything we have had has been a great standard, it was getting busier as the days went on, so pre-book if you want an outside table or your choice inside. The pizzas are really good and really good value, the caraf of wine is also very cheap, so doesn't have to cost alot to eat out. The shop is open from 8-8 and does not close for a siesta, its very well stocked and not too expensive for a site shop, the wine and sparkling on tap is brilliant and I would recommend, rhe lambrisco is my favourite. It comes out so cold. The pool is open 10-8 and also does not close for a siesta, though the slides are off for a few hours over lunch time. This gives a quieter time at the pool. You can pay for loungers and there are plenty, but was so hot (in the 30s) we just put our towels on the decking and were sat in the pool watching the kids to keep cool. You csn take your own water down there and also you can get to the bar from the pool. The beach is just a short walk, kids loved going down there. You can again hire deck chairs, but we just put our towels down as we only did a few hours then headed out of the sun. There is a bar/restaurant down there too. It's a short walk to the little town of Ereclea Mare. We walked through the woods and back along the beach. Nice ice cream shop and some little shops the kids liked going in. We also had lunch at Marinara and it was really very good. Best salmon tagliatelle. The animation team are great and a credit to the site. My son went to the football and enjoyed himself, we also enjoyed the evening entertainment they put on. The restaurant is in a square on the site with the inflatables, car track, bungee trampoline and little rides. You pay extra for these, but we found worth while. You can buy a happy card by the inflatables which gives you a discounted way to pay. The inflatables were brilliant snd 6euros gave them access 5.30-10pm. We sometimes fed the kids at the caravan then ate in the restaurant while they played. We stayed with Eurocamp, no issues. The site has some great accommodation, so I'd definitely look at those in future, we booked with eurocamp due to their refund policies over covid. There are mosquitos on the site, you need a very good quality spray and need to keep up with the application. After 2 days we stopped getting bitten as knew to keep spraying. You can visit Venice from the site, but unless we fit into our last day, we have decided to keep a chilled holiday on site. Very much recommend this site and it has been very friendly and helpful. Could not have asked for more.

Hotel Milano offers to the guests a warm atmosphere. The Hotel is in a peaceful position surrounded by a thick pine forest and close to the beach. The rooms are well equipped, with private bathrooms and toilets, telephone, security safe, SAT-TV, air-conditioning and balcony. Attractive bar and terrace bar, the service and the kitchen are directly supervised by the owners to guarantee you a perfect holiday. A few steps from the hotel, the guests will have access to the private beach and heated swimming-pool.

What hotels should be like!

Reviewed By Allmac06

The hotel rating system should be changed as it is biased towards the large chain hotels and what facilities it has. It has nothing to do with with what you actually received in the hotel itself! The Milano is classed as a 3* and I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years but the Milano would give any 5* a run for its money. Why? Service,Service,Service! Nothing is a problem, it is scrupulously clean, the rooms are a decent size with a good bathroom and shower, all the rooms have a balcony, again kept scrupulously clean with new towels changed ever day, and air conditioning. Now to the food; typical italian breakfast offering but a better than average choice; and they have boiling water for tea! a definate plus. For lunch and dinner the food is absolutely 1st class. All freshly made on the premises by the owners, Mrs Ostan,(her sweets are to die for). We stayed in the hotel for three weeks, the menu constantly changed with various subtle changes to what would have been the same dishes which made mealtimes so much to look forward to; they way it should be! Husband Antonio is always around for anything that may crop up and their 2 daughters Gloria and Laura run front of house extremely efficiently. The 3 waitresses in the dining room cope remarkably well; all very pleasant with a smile, and Antonella who served us was always cheerful and helpful who liked to speak English as most of the guests are either German or Italian speaking. Finally, with the swimming pool and their private part on the beach with 2 x sun-beds and a umbrella included in the price (if you had to pay on the beach it was 15€ per day!) the Milano is superb choice of hotel and would recommend it to anyone. We will be back!!

Agriturismo Dune

Dune Agriturismo is a Be Yourself place, where you'll find relaxation, passion and nature ... there's something to awaken all of your senses both day and night. Dune Agriturismo Relais (15 rooms + restaurant) is located in the country side between 2 touristy villages, but completely out of the fray where it is extremely quiet and relaxing between the sea and the open countryside. It is a small exclusive holiday vacation Resort. Our Farm-Restaurant is highly appreciated, because has a simple and tasteful cuisine: vegetables, fruits and herbs come straight from our garden and greeenhouses. We also have our own Limousine cows, for meat, and our vineyards for white and red wines, to better enjoy the meals. DUNE Agriturismo Relais is a newly restored 1930's Vacherie, the only Italian Farm House on the coast with private beach, swimming pool and restaurant, where you can find relax, tasteful typical dishes and wines made of our earth products...

Italy is much more beautiful than this

Reviewed By 830alessandroz

I stayed at Dune with my family for a week, in the Summer of 2021. There is virtually no beach, please beware of that. There is a fence that separates the premises from the sea, and instead of a beach there is a series of massive steps of concrete going down to the water. The owner is extremely concerned with his expenses. He was even counting the slices of ham to put in the plate while serving the breakfast! Honestly, I was quite appalled by this level of stinginess. And there was not even a kettle in the bedroom. The payment arrangements were not the same for all customers. I have been asked to pay the full cost in advance (which I did), but then I came to know from some other customers that they did not have to do that. I found this behaviour unprofessional (also their reaction to my complain about this disparity was not taken professionally). The nature...well, the place is a nice infrastructure, but it is put in between the ugliest beach you can think of, and some reclaimed lands used for agriculture. I cannot recommend it.

Lovely hotel for relaxed days at the beach ...

Reviewed By MissLdot

Hotel Sole is a rather small hotel next to the pinewood and close to the beach. Every room has its own balcony, ours offered a wonderful view of the pinewood opposite the front side of the hotel. The room was small but clean and provided everything we needed and wanted. They offer a good and varied continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner, though we only had breakfast and like that very much. Parking, as well as bike rental, were included in our package and made our trip much more enjoyable (in different ways). The staff was very friendly and always helpful when we needed something. Also, they have very good WIFI. The hotel has its own section at the seaside and we enjoyed 5 relaxed and wonderful days at a clean and beautiful beach. Though Eraclea Mare seems to be a family destination we really enjoyed our trip as a couple as well as our stay at Hotel Sole.

Great reunion

Reviewed By GrannyD2007

We have been coming to this hotel for about 10 years, meeting our friends who travel from all over the world. It is a seaside hotel, a short walk through the pine trees to a sandy beach. The resort is in a quiet village but there is s bus which can take you to nearby Jesolo, Carorle or Venice. The family who run the hotel supervise all aspects and eat with guests in the restaurant. Full board is offered with a four course lunch and dinner. They work very hard to ensure that guests are well catered for. There is good air conditioning in the rooms, which was installed a few years ago. The best rooms are those which face the pine forest and have balconies. You are able to dry your togs on a line provided there by the hotel.
