Reviewed By Dave HRecently returned from Crete including a 2 night stay at the Glykeria Hotel and Restaurant while visiting beautiful Elafonisi and walking the surrounding coastline. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Nikos, Maria, Yanis and the whole team provided a very friendly first class service throughout our stay. Accommodation is good with a great pool for a cooling dip. And the restaurant is always on hand serving great food and drinks. Thanks again Nikos and team!

A lot of space to walk and private free parking in a short distance of the rooms. Also a restaurant that serve every day breakfast, traditional food and fresh fishes start from 08:00 till 23:00.

Reviewed By MarylovetravellingWe visited this hotel in summer. It is very modern and very close to the famous beach. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The dishes are delicious and at reasonable prices and the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend it!

An immersion in the spectacular nature and landscape

The village in its essentiality let you to live 24hours per day in a deep and total way the air, the flavours, the sky, the landscape... of this wonderful place! Modern and clean accommodation close to Elafonissi
Reviewed By sjkeramGreat place to stay while visiting Elafonissi - away from the tourist rush at Elafonissi but close enough / only a short drive. The owner was very helpful and gave a great advise how to visit Elafonissi. The apartments are very modern and clean. However, the location of these apartments on the TripAdvisor map is wrong - the apartment is directly at the road to Elafonissi - sometimes the traffic might be disturbing.

The apartments are located in the village of Livadia (Elafonisi region) and are 200 meters from the sea, while only 9,5 km from the paradise called Elafonisi Beach. Reviewed By stavrosr343We had a great stay at Sunset Elafonisi. The view of the sea and the sunset from our room was extraordinary. The staff was really helpful and full of recommendations on what to do and where to go. The room was comfortable, modern and clean, with new furniture and a complete set of cookware. There was also a welcome basket with local fruits as well as wine, olive oil and even some raki! Elafonisi beach is only 15 mins away and there are mini markets where you can buy anything and some local restaurants like Gialites and Cosmos that have great cretan food. Next time I'm in Crete I am definitely coming back!

Reviewed By Ian WThe ladies emanouella and elda here at this wonderful mini market were the most friendly and welcoming. If we needed anything that was not there they would ensure they would have it available and delivered to the store within the day. My family had 2 fantastic weeks in elafonisi and we did all our shopping at their Store due to the wonderful hospitality. Thanks ladies for everything and I would thoroughly recommend anyone who visits this area to meet them and their lovely mini market
