Very quiet and peaceful place to spend time alone or with loved ones. Take a walk, birdwatching, swim with lovely nature all around. Wake up to birds chirping and enjoy sumptuous meals all day. Nice easy game drive through the park as one interacts with lovely animals up close. Has very lovely sunsets. Great hospitality from the hotel staff.

Best Hotel in the area, bar none

This 3* hotel acts like it is a 5*. Staff are friendly, exceptional helpful and the food is outstanding. This was the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone having to stay in Nairobi (not just for the airport). This hotel has 2 restaurants, a swimming pool and most importantly offers FREE transfers to and from the airport in one of their many vans and cars. Rooms are spacious with a good sized bed, a nice ensuite bathroom with shower. All rooms also have an ironing board with iron and an hair dryer as standard, most other hotels you need to request. If I could I would give this hotel 6 stars but unfortunately the maximum is 5. Finally, if you stay at this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Warm reception from the security at the entrance to the hotel. The food was to our liking, pics shared. The sauces were well paired with the meats of choice; vegetables were crunchy, meat well spiced and nicely done. The potatoes however were under whelming Due to the slow traffic at the time we were in; the service could have been better. The swimming area is also a bit unkempt; there were towels hanged all over which were later removed. All in all; Macha Bee is well represented

Elewana Elsa’s Kopje Meru

Unashamedly romantic and beautifully styled, Elsa’s Kopje is sculpted into Mughwango Hill, above the site of George Adamson’s original camp where he raised and released orphan lions, long before conservation became fashionable. Each cottage is crafted around the rocks, with a large bedroom, open sitting room, veranda and spacious bathroom, each with breathtaking views. Guests can enjoy inimitable seclusion in the vast expanse of Elsa’s Kopje, boasting 870km² , the equivalent of 215,000 acres, of authentic African landscape. The park offers a thriving rhino sanctuary, and is famous for large elephant herds, hippo, lion, and birdlife; Meru National Park is recognised as having more diversity of animal species than any other park in East Africa.

A beautiful landscape to arrive in and a beautiful camp with a beautiful garden, an oasis in the middle of nature! Waking up next to so many different birds was already special! We enjoyed everything, the food, the great staff, the spacious family tent and of course the game drives with Tom, our guide, with whom we clicked very well. We really missed him the following days. We highly recommend Elewana Lewa Camp. Don't forget to book a massage :-) , professional therapists!

They failed to mention, due to the rains, they were inaccessible. We got stuck, muddy but we couldn't turn back because we had paid a mandatory down payment. Only to arrive and find the place crowded, and food overpriced. A portion for 5 people could only be eaten by 2 if not 1 person and charge Ksh 8,000. We were very disappointed, never going back and definitely not referring ?
