Very inexpensive hotel in good location

The rooms are ok but certainly not high end.l and frequented by tourist groups. Nevertheless, I believe that it is a good choice to stay as service was very friendly and professional - surprisingly, the English skills of the staff was very good which is really helpful and appreciated.

Reviewed By MinxminxminGood& clean rooms for low prices. However the holiday inn (not express) has a better location than the express Hotel! If i knew earlier, i will stay at the Holiday Inn instead. Functional breakfast. Enough to satisfy morning hunger. Overall a good stay. Oh yes, for bubble tea lovers, the famous "alley" from Taiwan is right next to the hotel!

Special thanks to Ms. Sofia, the chief butler, for providing us the friendly, kindest and warmest service and help. The hotel is very nice. The staff are very professional.

Relaxing stay
Reviewed By SBkampotVery comfy room with extra king size bed (3m wide), attention to details from housekeeping, room equipped with small speakers that you can connect your phone with using Bluetooth, a lot of outside hot spring pools, smiling staff but don't speak much English, big breakfast buffet (don't go too late as they are clearing everything at 9 55am), gorgeous property, big and well maintained park/garden where you can wander during the day and check out the birds. Great stay, congratulations to the management.

Beautiful place to stay but lacking in some areas
Reviewed By MattwalesNorthWalesThis hotel is more a glampsite than a hotel with the actual accommodation being a series of prefabricated chalets scattered through some mixed woodland. The chalets are lovely, with good WiFi, but after dark there is nothing to do. The place markets itself as a kiddies activity ecopark, but kinda tries too hard to cover all bases whilst missing the target. Beautiful place, great for kids in the daytime great to get away from the city. Food in the Rock Cafe is great too

Not authentic onsen
Reviewed By SynapsegabaI thought that I would be having a Japanese onsen experience at this hotel but this is not the case. The hot spring is located in a neighbouring hotel called Howard Johnsson. The water is from the ground and the hotel has to heat it. They also add minerals or herbs to different pools. Thus, it is not a natural mineral hot springs. But I love the surrounding and the hotel itself. Just keep your expectations low if you are here for the wellness experience.

Great hotel
Reviewed By ayeletb738This was a surprisingly good hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, from our room we saw a beautiful view of the river. I loved the fact that the mini bar was free, they put two sweet pandas beers at the room. The pandas were for sale for 38 rmb, much cheeper than the prices at the panda park. The stuff wrre very nice and trying to help as much as possible. Few of them spoke some English. They helped us with ordering taxi and explained the drivers where to take us. Breakfast wea very good, a big variety of food, both Chinese and western. We really enjoyed our stay at thos hotel
