Reviewed By JKLMNOPQ1974Fraud people. They told Dlx Non AC room has twin bed and gave me Exe Non AC since we were a family of 3 and exe room has a large bed. They have 2 price charts at their reception which show Rs. 900 for Exe Non AC room. The boy who was there at night at the time of check-in charged me 1500 telling that it is old rate. Next day morning, manager came and when asked he said that I was given Dlx room and charge is 999/- When asked why he still overcharged me, he just printed the bill for 999 + taxes for an exe room and gave to me. When I raised voice, he gave back Rs. 100 but he still overcharged me Rs. 100/- This is a trick played by the manager and boys, with/without the knowledge of the owner. Room rent 900 + extra person 250 + Tax 150 = 1300/- They share that extra Rs. 200/- charged among themselves. What a cheat! Shameless people. Be alert and aware of these fraudsters. This hotel is a shame for Davangere. They are doing highway robbery. They are the most untrustworthy employees including the service boys. I think that boy's name is Ranganath. He is having a god's name and playing dirty tricks and cheating people. Nasty people, bringing such a big shame to Davangere people. See his face when he was caught in the act did not have any answer! Pathetic people.

The room furniture are okay but found that there is no sliding drawers anywhere in the room, no room fridge available, looks like the housekeeper keep supply for only one person

The hotel is located very near to the national highway 4 from Mumbai to Bangalore just 1/2 kilometer fro the highway. The hotel has 31 rooms, multi cuisine restaurant, room service, free wifi, basement parking for car and complimentry breakfast. Good room and one of the best looking hotels.

Reviewed By TravelWorld0verNice place to stay. No swimming pool. No gym. Room was good and service was good. Had some issues with hot water but it got fixed once i complained. Windows doesn't have latch. It was broken. Room is spacious.

Reviewed By Partners2013I stayed in the hotel for wedding from 12 th April to 19th April , to say the least this place is run by useless staff that had no clue what so ever , no one wants to take responsibility and refers the compliant to another dept and we as a guest are bounced like a ping pong ball , the hot water was never hot in the shower and no one cares when we advice for a fix , the answer is we will fix it in 5 mins or they say it is not their job but for the maintenance team , no one to be found , the front manager who was new tried to help with numerous guest complaining but wasn't successful with upper managers in fact quit the job as he said he could be better appreciated by other hotel , Raghvan from F&B was new too did his best to please guest as was new too but got frustrated with lack of support of upper management , i urge all not to stay in this place ever , the other issue was a joke as they one iron in the entire hotel so we have to wait for hours to get an iron to iron clothes The sad part or we were so frustrated that we had cold showers everyday and despite of saying we needed hot water on the wedding day we were let down again , lack of professional staff , very disjointed system and this hotel is like faulty towers , god knows who is the boss as every one says it is not my dept please refer to some other section and so on , we as guest were dumbfounded that if we perhaps were in a circus Well truly this place Is a disaster , stay away don't book rooms or weddings , I leave my number for anyone to call Me +61416005505 We paid full money but didn't get our moneys worth DONT BOOK ANY SOUTHERN STAR hotels do yourself a favour Nash

Very Bad Property.. Scarry for families
Reviewed By neeebeeeReached Davangere during my travel from Bengaluru to Gokarna. I stayed in this Hotel because I saw a reasonable tariff which was supported with some good photographs of the property but I was fooled by the photoshopped pics. Really a scary property for families. There are many good hotels around this, go and stay directly.. These people fool other and their customers.
