Citadines DPulze Cyberjaya

Covering a total area of about 29 square kilometres, Cyberjaya is the nucleus of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC), now known as MSC Malaysia. The vast area has developed into a holistic living arrangement for techies to work and live. Located 20 minutes from the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Cyberjaya is Malaysia's global tech hub, and home to over 1200 start-ups, SMEs and tech giants. New, wide roads are flanked by a combination of nature and concrete, making it one of the Malaysian cities with exceptional urban planning. Cyberjaya’s modest population size meant that overcrowding is not an issue the city faces, unlike its populous neighbours. But it doesn't mean that Cyberjaya is isolated. Major expressways provide convenient access to the city centres of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, the Sepang International Circuit and leading educational institutions. The world of global travel - via the Kuala Lumpur International Airport - is just a 20-minute drive from the KLIA Express

Potentially a great place but really missed the mark for my visit

Reviewed By Plexiaw

I struggled to write this review as so many positives to share but the negatives overshadowed. On the plus, absolutely excellent grounds and room. Pool looked clean and inviting, everything well maintained, several restaurants on site. (A few restaurants and spa were closed when I stayed, leftover from covid, but will assume those would open up in the future.) Room was large, wonderful bathroom, sitting area outside, fridge, etc. The location was nice, not only for cyberjaja but also to just get out of the city to a modern, less hectic area. It's also closer to KLIA airport. There is a metro station (on the KLIA line) literally right next to it, but you can't walk there. It's on the other side of a major highway interchange and there's no foot path that I could find to get over there - thus you'll still have to take a taxi or car to get to/from the station (although very short distance). On the negative, the service was very, very poor. I say this cautiously because I'm not blaming the workers. Rather, my take is that management hasn't created the right environment for them (adequate staffing, setting expectations, etc). I typically wouldn't comment negatively on service, but I was left disappointed in 5 separate incidents over a few days. I was ready to just ignore it on my last day and give the positive review, but when there was an incident at check-out, it became clear that it's a pervasive issue. Again, not attacking the workers themselves, as in all cases they were friendly and seemed as if just trying to do their jobs. It's not the servers fault that they have to cover 18 tables, etc. The final straw for me was at check-out I asked if they could call a taxi for me. The desk said they didn't know the number for a taxi. Perhaps my expectations that a front desk could call, or at least look up the number for me, seems reasonable - but clearly wasn't for them and every other hotel I stayed at during my trip was far superior in the service and support provided. So really solid facilities and room, but I couldn't just overlook the systemic service issues.

I stayed here for a night and was given a room on the 2nd floor (2012). Love the interior deco eventhough no window for this room. Felt so cozy but unfortunately the wifi was very slow. I had to go to the lobby to get a good connection. Overall, it was a pleasent stay.

So noisy with the song played by the house dj. So loud! Annoying! Room quite dusty. Hideos interior. So ugly. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED!! 300++ per night comes with no breakfast is very expensive.

Okay for 1 Night

Reviewed By fnashz

The original building was Tune Hotel and Fox Lite Hotel has taken over since October 2019. Pros - Located at the shopping mall, comfy bed, fast checkout. Cons - Slow checkin (15 minutes of waiting), slow drainage in the sink, dirty toilet bowl and seat, bad wifi connection (there was a connectivity issue during our stay), smelly rubbish can at level 8 lift, only shower foam bottle and soap are given as toiletries. In addition, please remember to validate mall parking ticket at the receptionist upon checkout so you only have to pay rm3. Also, about 10 minutes before 12pm checkout, the door alarm system will be ringing out loud - good to have it as a reminder that you need to checkout but I think it is a bit humiliating as you can hear it outside. In short, okay for 1 night stay.

Great location, units not kept clean

Reviewed By kamomedan

Location wise, its pretty convenient as its right next door to a shopping area (restaurants, grocery stores, bookshop, mart) The restaurants there are great as well, loved the tacos and burger =P The rooms could have been better maintained and cleaned. My friend and I requested for a change in the room as the 1st one we were put in were dusty it had dust bunnies nesting on the fan and water pipes, not to mention the insects and mosquitoes when we first walked into the room. Our second room was alright a little but could have been cleaned better. The utensils given had some residue from the previous guest, the sofa had some stain and my friend got bitten by some insect from sitting there, I got some bites as well by laying on the bed. The walls are a little thin, so you can hear your neighbours closing and opening the doors during your stay. The good thing was the aircon and the water pressure from the shower. The swimming pool is a must-visit when you are here, its on a rooftop so the view was amazing. If you go in the morning, you can get the pool all to yourself =) Great place to take pictures, there were many graduates taking photos there.
