Perugia, Assisi are very close, the other beautiful parts and towns of Umbria are easily to be reached within an hour.

Reviewed By Mikko LThis was a bad experience, no reason to decorate this evaluation. I reserved the room from B&B Al Borgo four months ahead to make sure that I get the biggest and the nicest room from Goia del Colle, just to satisfy a demanding traveller. Indeed, at web pages it looked nice: 35 m2, balcony, really a big living room and a separate sleeping area, two double beds, a sleeping sofa, and a laundry machine. On the way to the B&B Al Borgo we asked by phone advices how to reach them. In discussions the owner mentioned the room number, that was room number 5, just for you to remember not to take it. And now the story begins: The owner mentioned in the discussion that they have fired their previous assistant and had taken her to court. Odd, is it really the case?. After arriving to B&B obviously a new assistant took us first to look at a spacious room at the ground level with no windows and a strong mould smell. No, we really did not want to have it and instead mentioned her the currently infamous room number 5 that was on top floor without any humidity smell, to mention something positive. There were two small rooms filled with two beds (a small double bed and a sleeping sofa) leaving approximately 2,5m2 and 4m2 floor space. It was small, there was no balcony, and the number of beds did not match with my reservation. Laundry machine? Yes, behind a sliding door there was a technical space with industrial size water heater, normal size water heater, and two laundry machines one filled with dirty sheets. I took pictures. I told to the assistant that this is not what I had seen in the web. No response. We decided to think of it. Too bad we did not understand to call immediately to booking.com because that would have saved us approximately 8 hours, which we spent to look for a new place to stay. Booking.com looks for you a new room in case the reserved hotel does not respond the description shown in the web. Very clever. Around 8 o’clock we managed to found really a nice B&B to stay. At Al Borgo the owners were clearly unwilling to collaborate, blamed me for doing mistakes when reserving the room, and gave me all the faults although admitting that their previous assistant had made a mess with photos and descriptions of the rooms. I did not believe my eyes or my ears when looking and listening the owners raising their voice demanding penalty fee and making all kinds of excuses. Eventually after a phone call to booking.com we were able to get rid of them. They had to admit that it was their mistake. Booking.com told them to correct the number of beds immediately on the web page. Now checking one week later their information, balcony has been removed but the number of beds is still incorrect. This was not all. When we prepared to leave after a one and a half hour fight, it became obvious that they had used my credit card without my authorization. As they were not able to cancel it, they forced me to sign the receipts, and gave me cash. Al Borgo is a bed and breakfast and not a bank. Those who appreciate quality, good service, and disagree to have dinner from plastic plates should avoid B&B Al Borgo at Goia del Colle, Puglia, South Italy.

La Principessa Bed and Breakfast is a villa with a beautiful pine and oak garden on a hill near Perugia, in a scenic and peaceful setting. The B&B is located in the large wooded area covering the hill: paths and easy routes invite to outdoor activities and open spectacular views on Perugia, Assisi, Trasimeno Lake and the surrounding mountains. The old town of Perugia is 6 Km afar, the picturesque medieval hamlet of Corciano 4 Km, the major communication lines 2 Km. A few minutes away by car one can find tennis courts, golf, horseback riding, swimming pools, restaurants, cinema, shopping centers. Bus connection to the center of Perugia. The B&B offers: -luminous rooms with en-suite bathroom, TV, view over the garden, bed for children and cot -a luminous living room with fireplace and TV. -fully equipped kitchen -wifi. -large balconies, and terrace -garden with bowls and barbecue -parking inside the fence of our garden. -free return at night -small animals allowed Rich varied breakfast is served either in the living room or in the balconies or terrace, we do our best to meet the wishes and needs of our guests.
