We started our conversation with BDM Marinita Kotinkar and she was very supportive. The major reason we could do this event is only because of her flexibility and follow ups. Thank you for answering all our calls with smile and enthusiasm. Room allotment was super smooth and your front desk team managed it really nicely despite being super busy with all the big -fat weddings happening around. Stay was comfortable: food was cooked with love, and served with smiles. And special thanks to wonderful musicians and singers who performed Live to keep us entertained. Housekeeping & conference room staff was courteous & efficient All throughout our stay, your team cooperated very nicely. Goof-ups happens and minor things can definitely be overlooked as for majority of the experience was super satisfactory. I would like to thank your F&B Manager Vijender, Anoushka, Savio (Front Desk). Alexio, Chef Azad, Sunny, Anjol, Caitan, Veeresh, Joaquim, Myron & entire team who managed to keep us smiling during our stay. Very rude unfriendly abusive indifferent staff.
Reviewed By ppgl26febDisliked · The reception staff at 0200 on 09 apr 2022, was very loudly abusive, rude, disrespectful, shouting out of control and absolutely non repentant in has behaviour. Simply put we were a group of 20 odd friends arrived at the resort at 0200 after a farewell party to a friend. the was no staff at the reception. we called out, no response, so one friend of mine decided to take the key of him room and proceed. just when he was leaving the reception, the duty receptionist arrived. my friend called out to him and told him he had taken the key to his room and held it up to show. The person on duty started shouting at him, how dare you go there, what is your name, why have you touched things on the counter. without going into further detail, he was loudly abusive, arrogant, rude, disrespectful and continued thus till he was checked by another of my friends. The hotel cannot hire such a person for front desk duties. Frankly i will never recommend this hotel to anybody and never stay there again.

A great place to stay if visiting Goa for a few days
Reviewed By Adrian DIf you are visiting Goa for 2-3 days (or longer) as part of your visit to India, please consider Mr Francis and Leon Hide Out Guest House as a place to stay, close to the airport, on the beach. My brother and I have spent the last week in India and wanted a couple of days at the end of the holiday to chill out by the beach. We chose the Bogmalo beach because it’s just 10 minutes from the airport. We wanted a comfortable room for 2 nights without paying hotel prices. Leon Hide Out Guest House is just 15 meters from the beautiful beach. The rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, clean and well maintained. Mr Francis and his family are warm and welcoming, and we felt very relaxed staying here. We choose the large double room on the 1st floor, with a huge balcony overlooking the beach, and the even bigger twin room with kitchen downstairs. The beach is small, relaxed, friendly. Bogmalo Beach has perhaps 5 restaurants, around 15 shops and 1 scuba diving option. We love it because of this. Life is too complicated when there’s too much choice. You can arrive here, and feel relaxed. There is a good choice of restaurants. Our personal favourite is the Sea Cuisine (white and yellow front, onto the beach), because of the great prices, relaxed service and good views. Don’t worry that you are close to the airport and that the noise of aircraft will ruin your holiday. In 2 days, we’ve perhaps heard 2 planes. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Situated in the heart of the Bogmalo village, just 5 minutes drive away from the Dabolim International Airport Goa. 3 minutes walk away from the the beach and well known resturants next door and also by the beach side. The ATM and the Naval Aviation Museum are just 5 minutes walk away up the climb. Vasco city is nearest within 9 km away. If you're looking for a peaceful stay then this is the perfect place.

Reviewed By X577777777Warm welcome from Austin, our accommodation was more like an appartment than a hotel room! Spotlessly clean, lots of space and quiet at night. Just a short walk from the beach and restaurants. Austin was very friendly and helpful, he took us to the airport for our early morning flight. Highly recommended.

Nice, Clean room near to airport - ask for a room in an adjacent guest house
Reviewed By Ritesh JI booked Raikar Guest House for a night stay upon my arrival to and return out of Goa since my flight timings were very odd. The location of the guest house is very near to the airport (only 5 minutes drive) and that is the biggest plus point. Upon my arrival the host offered me a room in an adjacent guest house with whom they have tie up as the Raikar Guest House was fully booked. Even though he didn't inform me about this in advance I didn't mind it since the room was spotlessly clean and absolutely worth for the money I paid. However, there was no soap in the bathroom and dustbin was outside the room which the host immediately fixed when I called him. It was a perfect set up just to spend a night. Since I travelled in mid August and it was raining, I didn't bother about the fact that the room is without AC and it was actually absolutely fine with us. The guest house doesn't serve any food or drinks and there are no hotels at walking distance. So one must be prepared to walk to the beach side to find any shacks which may not be working during off season. The property has a very small space to park your vehicles which cannot really be called as a parking. Hence be prepared to park your car on the roadside in case there is already any vehicle by an another guest. The host stays in an adjacent house to the guest house and is very friendly, polite and helpful. He helped me with airport pick & drop at a reasonable price. He also helped with the rental car contacts & I could get a brand new i10 Grand at a reasonable price with a very short notice. At the time of return, I was given the room in the original Raikar Guest house. I was disappointed to see that the room wasn't as clean as it was during my first stay. The voice from an adjacent room was clearly audible and hence complete lack of privacy. However, I liked the set up very much for the price that I paid. It was a perfect to spend a night. Please ask for a room in an adjacent guest house with whom they have tie-up. It has got much better rooms.

Worst host ever...
Reviewed By BeachbeerbikiniWe made a booking for 6 (with 3 senior citizens) directly with Julie (owner) and a 50% advance was paid too. Later next day I asked if a cancellation was possible to which she said only if she gets a new reservation. Hence I waited and texted to follow up but no reply. Next day the room was given to someone else without notifying me and to make it worse she said it's non refundable. She still owns me money from the booking. Please dont ruin your holiday by booking with sun-kissed holidays.

Reviewed By johnmcboyleThe room was dirty, with cockroaches, no towels, bad & thin bed linen - nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. There was a main building which may have had reasonable rooms but we were in a scruffy annexe round the back which was awful. The soap bar in the shower had hair on it from previous occupants!! We tried to find alternative accommodation but everywhere was full due to the taxi strike. Outside there were pigs rooting around in the rubbish. A truly horrible night.
