Each day they recommended great places to experience the local cuisine. Salvatore went above and beyond to accommodate our arrangements at the beach as well as our daily excursions. Many thanks goes to Emilia for her hospitality and for all her useful information about the local culture. We strongly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in visiting the Lucania region. Grazie a tutti!

Great place if you like nature
Reviewed By FabrizioGriecoNLI have been visiting this camping since 1991. This is one of the places which show that a successful balance between tourism and nature conservation is possible. The camping lies in a beautiful pine forest which stretches almost uninterrupted up north to Taranto. This forest is of tremendous importance for the protection of the coastline against erosion. Low-impact tourism is therefore a must. At dusk, the choir of cicadas is interrupted by the melancholic, monosyllabic whistle of the owls. Nature dominates, day and night. So besides the amenities, the beach, the wonderful people and (of course) good food, it's an excellent place if you like a good balance between fun, nature and culture (just check the Greek temples a few kilometers from here, and of course the city of Matera).

Mima and Maria Grazia were delightful and very accoglienti (hospitable) They even played my favorite music while eating breakfast. The room was so pretty, spacious, and had great kitchen amenities. Shower fantastic!!

Reviewed By berger79We spent 4 days at this oasis with our family. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms are spotless. The pool is great and the gardens are lovely. You can walk into town. I highly recommend.

Reviewed By Julia Sthis hotel is definately for Italian locals or the history buff like me. I love HIstory and especially ancient Greek history and this area is famous for the artifacts. I wanted to mention that the hotel is close to the beach, the tour guide from the ancient sites will pick you up, the hotel is very very clean and the free breakfast is delicious as is the orange juice. the only minor thing is that they charge 10 euro to use the Hotel beach chair. - that should be free with the payment of your room to the Hotel.

The pool is huge and they had a fun aerobics class on when I was there,you have to buy a swim hat to go in the pool though.. They had an Italian nite, you pay for a lovely spread of food all sat on a long table, got to chat to different nationalities, good fun, They put on lots of entertainment every night, music, singers a stage show with comedy even though it was all in Italian even the comedy made us laugh! Mostly Italian families stay here. Ideally positioned to see beaches and sightseeing.

Reviewed By 15Claire15When I contacted Franco to ask about transport from the station he offered to fetch us which was great.The room was fine bed ok even a washing machine.Fridge too.Breakfast sufficient with excellent coffee.Great being so close to the sea.Resort v quiet mid june.Thanks for the hospitality would recommend strongly.
