Luxury in the midst of nature
Reviewed By vivek nbooked a residence through their website,was attended by ms.shreelakshmi,who responded promptly and clearly..got all the details.the resort started as cicadia resorts in 2007-08,then took over by cafe coffee day in 2012.The resort has a total of 24 rooms,in 18 acres of land.The thing standing out from other resorts is the location,its far from everything,the nearest village mangala is about 5 kms away,which is part of the experience!! The staff were really outstanding,Mr.nixon and Mr.guruprasad from the front desk were really helpful,,they contacted me thru whats app,told me the best routes to the resort,helped me with everything they could..no calls or queries to the front desk were left unattended,be it day or night,they really deserve 7 stars..Mr.imran the naturalist,is the most knowledgable you can find.we have breakfast buffet,others a la carte..the menu is limited,but the nearest restaurant is 17 kms away..the food was very tasty,and the quantity was high,2 of us,could simply share one dish..Mr.baswanthan from the restaurant was really helpful,even delivered a chocolate cake to our room,for my wifes birthday,promptly at 12..very tasty and fresh.(hard to find that kind of hospitality,in the middle of a forest)..a big thanks to the chef and everyone to make it possible.. lots of activities,the safari is in tie up with jungle resorts and lodges,was truly remarkable..great comfortable spa,with good amenities..truly relaxing the resort has 2 residences,we stayed in no.2,it was huge and roomy,there was normal wear and tear in the furniture,other than that nothing to complain..one thing was the airconditioner wasnt exactly quiet,you pay 30k/night..you cant have a split ac,with blower sound..the water pressure in the overhead shower was less..but these things could simply be ignored,once you lay down,on the day bed in the terrace,in the mild breeze at night...simply awesome...worth every paisa you pay..cant wait to visit again..thank you for making our stay memorable..

Dhole's Den offers 5 living spaces (2 Habitats, 2 Garden Mansions and 1 Mountain Paradise (Junior Suite). Aptly termed Habitat these are spacious each with a large bedroom, a bath with a shower and access to the balcony that offers a commanding view of the Nilgiris and the landscape of Bandipur Large glass sliding doors offer a panoramic and unhindered view of the landscape and the Niligiri Mountains. The two separate Garden Mansions offer a spacious living and bed area and are about 1200 sq.ft in area. The living, bed and the bath are placed in such a way so as to offer privacy even without too many walls or doors. These mansions can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults.The bright and friendly bath area offers a shower open to the sky and even a view to the mountains both giving a special touch of freedom. The large balcony is separated from the bed room by sliding glass shutters allowing enough light and sight from the moment you wake up. Mountain Paradise is the newest addition to our homestay. This semi-detached mansion offers the most exclusive views that Dhole's Den has to offer. It overlooks our rain water pond and has a large balcony and a set of terraces that complement the setting to offer the guest spots to stay and pause while they walk to or away from this space. The bath is connected to an outdoor area that offers again a space to not just view the landscape but provides that feeling of adventure as one steps out and is at the border of our property and enjoy more than just a window to the forest. Dhole's Den is an eco-friendly safari lodge in the true sense of the word. We were the first to try and successfully employ eco-friendly methods in the Bandipur National Park. Most of our power is green. We treat our waste water using reed beds to reduce the effluents entering the ground water to the maximum and use a a bio-digester for the disposal of kitchenwaste and fresh produce from the garden is served whenever in season. We organise Safari to the Bandipur Tiger Reserve (camera fees have to be paid extra by the guests), nature walks, village safaris. We offer a jogging track, meditation area, indoor games and outgoor games as activities. Cooking demonstration and Yoga courses upon request.

Reviewed By Rune_faluWe visited with our family for two nights. It is a beautiful place. I must thanks Ingrid and Karthik along with all the stafffs for making our stay so comfortable. Special thanks to everyone for making the special birthday arrangements for my husband. It was such a sweet gesture. The property is so amazing with serene wilderness with a blend of natural beauty. Reviewed By 515vijaysWe had a good stay here. Food & swimming pool deserve special mention. Manager Rumi personally took care of our stay and was attentive to feedback. Staff seemed new and I had to ask few small things which they could've been pro active.

Not a good choice
Reviewed By Pranav1984Pathetic condition of the rooms. There was no soap, toothpaste, towels in the bathroom. Doormats were in very dirty condition. Balcony was so small that it only accomodate one chair. There was no swimming pool. Kids park is having only 2 swings. All are in poor condition.

Reviewed By kashyapnimishaThe property is very nice. It has a children's play area, swimming pool, and table tennis. Peacock and Deer are very common here. They were very helpful. Our child sleeps early at night (before the resort's dinner time) but they were generous enough to provide us with dinner that too off the menu. The room was small but clean. You can have a nice walk in and around the resort.

Amazing and proactive service
Reviewed By kulaakarTeam of Mr Kumar and Acharya sir took utmost care of us . Food they are really good with local delicacy. They were very proactive and hospitable . The best part about the resort was the view of mountain and you had several open space to explore. Unlike hotel hotel this is a jungle resort. Very calm and relaxing experience.
