Disappointing

Reviewed By SMcKernan

Upon arrival we were lead into a small lounge. Having asking staff if we could have our meal in the restaurant, she replied we were already in it. The hotel advertises chef quality meals, however, Sunday dinner was extremely poor (in fact, I had better school meals years ago.) Chicken supreme consisted of a very small breast with a leg bone, broccoli hard & undercooked, watery pepper sauce & small portional options of potatoes with mushy veg to complement. In summary, considering the overall standards of O'Neill's hotel many years ago, in 2022 it appears to have downgraded terribly. My guests & I left hungry & disappointed.

A country house set in its own grounds adjacent to the international airport. We are a farm stay so there are animals on the property and are pet friendly. Parking is available on site.. Home improvements are on going both inside and outside so please be aware of this when booking.

Very welcoming and sheer luxury.

Beautiful period house, spotlessly clean,no smell of dogs whatsoever. We’re made very welcome with a roaring fire in our bedroom. We had a good breakfast and found our host very interesting.Situated close to the airport made it most convenient. This grand house is a must for anyone who appreciates old worldly charm. We found it most interesting that our host Primrose took on the project of restoration some five or so years ago.

Hidden Gem, Excellent Base !

We were let down at the last moment so had to find somewhere else to stay, luckily came across this little gem! Booked for a week , arrived to a nice welcome pack and very clean apartment. Spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed, good amount of storage. Good sized bathroom with both a bath and separate shower., along with toiletries. Kitchen had everything you could need, washing machine, dishwasher , fridge/freezer etc. Was an ideal base to see the sights from , including go to Southern Ireland. Was very peaceful and will happily recommend to everyone. Will also look forward to returning next year..

I booked to stay, then cancelled. I then phoned the owner to ask if I could still stay. He graciously agreed. I again had to cancel. The owner was totally kind throughout. Next time I'm travelling through Belfast International I will make staying at this B&B priority no 1.
