Reviewed By Tezza2097The Passage Koh Samui is a family run oasis located on the western side of the island away from the madding crowd of the east coast with beautiful swimming pools coconut trees and a white sandy beach However with a short cab ride you can be anywhere We had the luxury of a beach front villa with our own pool which added to our enjoyment The staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make your stay a memory you won’t forget, in saying that Covid took its toll on the island with loss of trained staff which it is now recovering from, we enjoyed our stay and would like to revisit in the future

Spacious room with good view
Reviewed By Amy RThe room was spacious (although quite dated) and the bed was comfortable. We were given a room with a balcony at the end of the hall on the 4th floor meaning we had a fantastic view of the sea. We stayed here as we needed to be close to the pier to get the ferry over to koh phangan and back again the next morning but if you don't need to be near the pier then there is little else nearby. The staff we encountered during our stay spoke little to no English which made it slightly difficult when trying to find out what restaurants were around and where we could get our laundry done. The room was fairly cheap but would only use this hotel as a base for a night or two before working out where on koh samui you want to stay.

Reviewed By J6557CPheidibWe had a great week at Baan Sijan. Our friend, as well as our family (4 adults and 5 kids) enjoyed the large area with plenty to do. Numerous areas to relax, play pool, and have fun. A part of the pool was shaded at all times which was great for a break from the sun. Janya and Ani are amazing hosts. We took advantage of their shopping for us, cooking class, dinner, breakfast, and taxi service. We also used their washing machine which was an added bonus. We also rented a truck as well as a motorbike for the week. Anything we needed and we just texted Janya. She also helped us book an excursion and had great beach and dinner recommendations. Koh Samui, especially this part of the island, is extremely relaxed. Be prepared to see many animals and live on “island time” whether at Baan Sijan, at dinner, or at the beach! It was a great experience for us to stay “off the beaten track” as we were able to explore many areas of the island vs just “staying on the resort”. Sit back, grab a cocktail, and enjoy some time to disconnect and enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of island life in Thailand!

Reviewed By 819andylOne night here before catching a ferry back to the mainland. Very convenient location. Rooms are sparse but spotless. Window leaked during a torrential downpour, but nothing a towel couldn’t take care of. For $20/night it’s clean, secure, and within walking distance of a night market, Tesco Lotus, and numerous bars and restaurants.

Room so old and smell
Reviewed By Supamat14We book this place because is close to ferry pier, first I check in staff not helpful not informed anything just give the key, Room very old, smell so bad and they all the same, the owner should change new mattress and curtains, in shower water not hot ( we can’t change place because too tried and too late my little one just ready to sleep) this place really not recommended.

Throughout the period of 6 days 5 nights, I stayed in a beautiful room with a private pool, I have activities to do in the resort without boredom. Even the Covid19 epidemic, it makes the hotel guests less but the staff took a good care of the room, food and drink, and clean swimming pool. What I like very much is the rain shower, I’m not kidding, the water flow is strong and refreshing. I can't believe that the water system here is that good. Another thing that cannot be missed is swimming in the sea and receive the morning sun, you will definitely get a tan. At night, you can come out and see the stars in the sky. It was such a good time to stay here. Very impressed.
