The hotel staff is so friendly no matter who you encounter, they're very helpful and run an extremely professional hotel. The breakfast area is pleasantly located on the outside balcony and overlooks the ocean, the port, etc. Incredible views and great size too - lots of tables so you never felt cramped. Our room was amazing, extremely clean and neat, with perfect views - we felt like true VIP the entire time. There is an employee named Vinchenzo who was the absolute best. Always positive, smiling, laughing and makes incredible espresso martini! He was the star of the week and we highly recommend you find & interact with him!

Heaven and amazing hotel.
Reviewed By ealkuwariWonderful hotel with amazing location. The reception and concierge are very nice and helpful. We stayed in a suite facing the ocean with private balcony. There are couple of restaurants in the hotel which are very good. The buffet breakfast has almost everything and la carte menu added. There is a shuttle available to take us from hotel till the town. Just 5 min or less drive. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful view, nice rooms and staff with a heart for cats
Reviewed By 662mzWe stayed 3 nights at the end of September and were very satisfied with the hotel. Our room "Aurora" was nice and clean and had a gorgeous sea view, with a small balcony around. If you are not a morning person, the shutters allow to block the sunrise light. The only negative point is the rather busy road below with "crazy" :-) Italian drivers making noise even late at night. The hallways and entry are very clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast is served on a terrace with a gorgeous view, offering diverse hot and cold food of rather good quality. What warmed our hearts is the care the hotel staff gave to the several cats living around the hotel, even though cats apparently are not so appreciated by the people there. We hope this will continue in the future! If you like swimming, the Lido degli artisti is just a few steps (+ many vertical steps, as every on the Amalfi coast) away - beautiful water with sunbeds to rent on a secluded beach!

Tremendous boutique hotel for our honeymoon

The rooms are spacious and very chic (with A/C to boot!), and the location is to die for - mere steps away from the heart of the town and beach. A surprising highlight was the breakfast - it was a truly impressive spread with tons of still-hot-from-the-oven pastries, fresh fruits, meats, and cheeses, and made to order coffees (perhaps the best cappuccino in Amalfi!), served on a beautiful terrace overlooking the town. On top of all that, the staff is beyond superb. The same three staff are ever-present, making the place feel like a very intimate family-run business - Lydia welcomed us every morning to breakfast warmly, the two gentlemen somehow figured out it was our honeymoon and left us a surprise bottle of Prosecco, and all were extremely helpful with recommendations. In short, this is a extremely beautiful boutique hotel with a warm family-run atmosphere. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Amalfi!

On check in we were helped with our bags, shows to our room, told about the facilities etc. the hotel is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good for the price of 5 euros per person. For us the bed was too hard but everything else was perfect

Aurora Hotel is the perfect spot to spend an unforgettable holiday in Amalfi.Located nearby the Amalfi Marina, the hotel is only 500 meters from the hustle and bustle of Piazza Duomo. It is the ideal accommodation for visiting the Amalfi Coast and its picturesque villages, such as Ravello, Positano, Capri and even the Pompeii Excavation, which are all within easy reach. The bus station and the wharf are only 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. After a long day-trip, Aurora Hotel is just a short walk to downtown and the beach, and it is accessible without climbing stairs. One final recommendation from the hotel management: if you want to spend a few relaxing days in Amalfi, please check Aurora Hotel location on Google Maps and compare it with other hotels. Most of Amalfi hotels are located in the noisy old Town, accessible by climbing long stairs; some others are located on the highway to Positano, so you will need to take the bus, a taxi or your car in order to reach the city, driving down one of the busiest roads in Italy!
Really fantastic place to stay
Reviewed By Brian BWhat a fantastic place to stay I stopped at the Hotel Aurora Apartments. The apartment was out of this world big and spacious. The apartment had everything you needed a fully functioning kitchen with hob under oven with grill. Full size fridge sink microwave and a great selection of well stocked cupboards and draws with everything you need. The kitchen was a kitchen dinner with table and chairs. There was a spacious lounge with a lovely couch tv with satellite. Lovely bedroom comfy big double bed plenty of space with double wardrobe. A really impressive bathroom with a great shower plenty of hot water. The apartment was spotless so clean and tidy. The apartment was a very short walk to all the amenities either down the street or through the maze of tunnelled walk ways absolutely amazing. Your so close to everything the beach and all the bars and restaurants. Dani made me so welcome and her knowledge about Amalfi was fantastic and she was so happy to share this with me. This is a really fantastic place to base to go out exploring Amalfi and once you’ve done that come back and relax. I will definitely be going back it really is a 10/10 place to stay. I would like to thank Dani for a fantastic holiday and help with making my stay so pleasurable.

A lovely stay

They held a late check in for us and were incredibly accommodating by keeping the restaurant open late for us to eat. The food was average here, which was a surprise as the hotel is 4 stars, the waitors are dressed very smartly and tables are dressed to give off the impression that the food would also be to a high standard. The receptionist was helpful in helping to organise our trips and suggested many things for us to do. The hotel itself is a bit of a walk up a moderate hill, but it's away from the bustle of the town centre. The room we had was pretty basic and I think for the age and nature of the hotel it could be seem to need updating. As we were on honeymoon we were a little disappointed with the room and were expecting to upgrade to one of the better ones but it didn't matter too much. We still had a nice view from the balcony but the bathroom needed redecorating and the TV was small. There also wasn't a lot of space and this made us storing luggage a challenge. Breakfast was lovely, and each day there was some variety with the pastries and fruit offered. The only thing I would have liked was fresh orange juice as the bottled ones were limited and also variety on the cooked items. We would recommend the hotel and return on the basis of the staff making us feel so welcome, but only if we were offered a nicer room. We were also a little put out that despite informing the hotel prior to our visit and wearing honeymoon t shirts upon arrival no one congratulated us. We did however receive a bottle of fizz in the room, but it would have been nice to been appreciated more since we had chosen to spend our honeymoon at their hotel.

The "Sharon House" is a brand new B & B located in the Center of Amalfi town in a very convenient and strategic position for tourist that want to visit freely the entire "Amalfi Coast" or that want to enjoy the summer bathing on the beautiful beaches of the area or who is just passing through to reach new goals… In any case, the "Sharon House" remains the Ideal Location, being close to the bus terminal and to the tourist pier or from the main public and private parking. Despite its centrality the "Sharon House" remains very quiet and far from the noise of "trafficking" town, with its rooms overlooking a beautiful private garden or on a characteristic and typically charming square, ensuring guests moments of relaxation and serenity ...

Another big pleasure was the free tour that we got from them - we chose an excursion in Amalfi by guide Michelangelo - very interesting! The hotel was very centrally located (5 min walking from bus station and harbour). The breakfast was delicious and based on your personal selection of breakfast items including fruits and cakes.
