Reviewed By RobandangiehartlepooI and my partner have had a fantastic weeks stay here, moss was welcoming , as was all the staff , we knew what was going to be charged for ie safe and air con so no sweat there ( Sorry for the pun). Our room was clean on arrival and kept clean all stay, food was very good and after just been to minorca in a five star hotel and paid a bomb, for the money we paid for this holiday I reiterate very good. The hotel is on a hill but we knew before we arrived , but I must be truthful for myself and partner we did do it 3 times and it is a oxygen thief, but ha ho never spoilt the holiday. We enjoyed this hotel and met some wonderful new friends and that’s what’s holidays all about , making memories x

End of season holiday
Reviewed By alisons499Very late in the season holiday, but grateful for anything as covid still an issue. The hotel was basically closing behind us, we understand it had been sold? So ... location between 2 busy roads, our room overlooked a builders yard. The statement of 800m to the beach is not correct, it's a good half hour walk along a road with no shelter from the sun. The beach is just average. We booked bed and breakfast and the breakfast was adequate. Quite a walk into the village to eat of an evening but not alot open as it was the end of the season. Bus stop to lindos/Rhodes town close by and buses seemed to run almost to schedule (Greek time that is). All in all, ok but probably wouldn't go back

Oasis hotel. And it really is an OASIS! The setting is a large and beautiful garden: a green retreat of flowers, banana trees and palm trees, all only 800 metres away from wonderful Afandou beach. Distances: main beach 800 m, Afandou town centre 1km, golf-course 1 km, Faliraki 5 km, Kolymbia 6 km, Lindos 30 km, Airport 23 km, Rhodes Town/port 20 km. The intimate, bungalow-style buildings are in the local island tradition and set out in an extensive natural location. There is a choice of twin (or triple) rooms and apartments, as well as family rooms, in double buildings, for 4-5 guests.

Reviewed By W9587VQlucywMy boyfriend and I visited Oasis Hotel and Bungalows last year for one week, and chose this place specifically for the low price. Similarly to other reviewers we found the food selection very repetitive and had as my boyfriend is a fairly picky eater we had to eat out in other restaurants 4 nights out of the week as there was only so much pasta I could watch him eat. However, I am not such a fussy eater and I think I couldve managed with what was available but still felt disappointed with what was available. The town of Afandou was very quiet, although there was a bus stop right outside availble to take you to the nearest towns for less than €10 usually. However, our biggest issue we came across whilst staying here was the all inclusive rule. My boyfriend and I chose this board as we felt it would allow us to not have to worry about spending money elsewhere for the week. However, we were extremely disappointed to find that no alcoholic drinks at all were included in the all inclusive basis. Before leaving for our holiday I had not been aware of this and we wish we were. On the other hand, despite these slight issues we still managed to have a good trip and we loved the pool area and the staff we experienced couldn't have been more helpful. Although the rooms are basic, they were always clean and we felt well looked after during our stay. Overall we think you do get what you pay for here, we would just maybe go self catering or half board if we were to return.?

The hotel is spotless, so clean and tidy and the food is incredible. Beautiful pool area and literally 5 minutes walk to the beautiful beach. This has been a wonderful experience and I will be returning. I highly recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By 411Adam11We were a family of 6 people visiting this hotel and had the time of our lives. The staff were very kind and service minded and helped us with any problem we had. The staff is always available, and ready to compromise to make the guest happy. The rooms are clean and nitty, and every room has a bathroom, small kitchen and a balcony! That was a big plus for me. This hotel is perfect for any kind of vacation, and surely it lives up to its name.

Hidden garden apartments, is a complex of 2 houses and 4 apartments in Afandou specially designed for comfort and privacy. The houses for rent are suitable for families or group up to 5 people. Apartments for rent are suitable for couples or group up to 3 people or 1 couple with 2 children. Located in a quiet residential area and only 8 minutes walk to the crystal waters of Afandou beach.

Reviewed By Alex SWe have used the Hidden Garden apartments several times and would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone planning to visit Rhodes. The location is perfect, located on the Rhodes to Lindos coastal road. The local bus service is cheap and reliable, and the bus stops are just around the corner from the apartments. Trip to Rhodes town is only 20 minutes, so you have the option of heading to town or chilling out with the locals in Afandou village itself (about 10 minute walk). Many visitors would hire a car to see the entire island. The Georgia Hotel next to the apartments allows visitors the use of the pool and bar. A secret jewel opposite is the Hidden Garden restaraunt which offers a warm, friendly atmosphere with traditional authentic Greek cuisine at a very good price. The apartments themselves are fully equipped with everything you will ever need during your stay. They are kept in pristine condition and are cleaned regularly. Along with the restaurant, the apartments are a family run business, and believe me a nicer more friendly and helpful family you will never meet. George owns and manages the apartments and Nick does likewise with the restaurant. I can honestly not recommend enough. Google the location. Check out Afandou, the surrounding local villages and the countless excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. The secret is out, check out the Hidden Garden apartments.
