Historic building but poor facilities

However - there was no blind, curtain or shutter on the window, no heating, no staff on site, no WiFi or TV. Not good value for money. The worst was being told that I could get breakfast at the bar across the road, and then finding it was closed on Mondays,

Reviewed By Barbara WMy sister and I were a bit daunted when we found the albergo and realized there were steep stairs to the rooms. However, the woman who manages or owns the hotel lugged our heavy suitcases upstairs then gave us a choice of two rooms. We chose the one with the larger bathroom and were thrilled to find that there were heated tiles and a functional radiator in the room since our first two days were chilly and windy. The breakfast was generous, there is free parking about 1/4 of a mile away and best of all we were offered a free tour and wine tasting at a beautiful local vineyard. Overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We like to serve our guests with passion because we love our jobs: tuscany is a good place to stay... and to work!The hostel has 46 rooms, equipped with latex mattresses and wooden slats. Each room also has a wash basin. Sheets and linen are included.Bathrooms are located on floors and all with hot shower facilities.

Reviewed By Faezeh98I was in siena hostel for 3 months. All the staffs were very friendly and kind.I really miss them? They inspire me a happy feeling in difficult situation.Also all events were very enjoyable. Thank u that they gave me permission to use kitchen despite their rules.

Reviewed By longhornwineThe Anna Camere is a great, centrally located room inside the walls of Montalcino. Owned by the family who also has Il Giglio Hotel, our apartment was a short stroll down the street. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee at the hotel each morning. The family is very nice and speaks English. They will park your car in their private place, and retrieve it when you need. Star employees, Emmanuela and Caterina will take excellent care of you. Michele helped us figure out how to deal with a parking ticket; afterward, it was the family valet service for us! The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. We certainly shall miss our time at Anna's and Il Giglio.

Nice rroms in the city center

Reviewed By Ellentravels98We really enjoyed our stay! The receptionist was really friendly and gave us some good tips for visiting Sienna. The location is awesome, near the center and a supermarket which you can reach in just 2 minutes, in case you get tired of all the ice cream. Definitely a hostel to experience Italian hospitality!

Reviewed By riccardot919Ho soggiornato in questa struttura con amici per il capodanno. Niente da ridire sulla camera pulita e funzionale e anche i bagni puliti e funzionali. Il problema più grosso è stato il riscaldamento non funzionante che ha creato più di un problema al ritorno dal veglione di capodanno visto il freddo creatosi nella camera e senza la possibilità di poter segnalare il problema visto l'assenza di un presidio notturno .
