Reviewed By CosminFI spent 4 nights there, european standard, all the facilities, clean, with very nice and friendly staff, able to offer a lot of info, not only touristic ones, but also regarding history of the city and the state, customs and traditions. Recommend it.

Great location, staff and comfort
Reviewed By kacvanwalThis hostel is located in a very convenient area, with Baityrek Tower within 15-20 min walk and Khan Shatyr just a couple of minutes further. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable which lets you cure your jetlag if you have just traveled from far away. Kitchen and TV couch serve as common areas, it is warm and cosy even with -15°C outside.

Love this little capsule place
Reviewed By HolisticsuperwomanI recently moved to Astana. I'm an expat from America. This hostel is perfect for me. I like my privacy, but I don't like to be all by myself. At the times when I needed my introvert time, went off to my capsule and relaxed. At the times when I wanted to be social, hung out with everyone in the main room. All the guests were so nice. There were times that we all made dinner together. There were other times we'd all go out to the ballet. The hostel is also kept immaculate. You can practically eat off the floor. Even when the place had more guests there was always enough bathrooms and showers for everyone. On a final note, there is a lock box for each capsule. Not that I felt like I needed it but it was nice to know that my valuables were locked up when I went out for the day.

A Room in a Skyscraper
Reviewed By Tombo_HThe location is hard to beat: by the main boulevard, walking distance to all the biggest sights. The establishment is basically a home converted into a hostel, resembles a shared flat with a living room/kitchen in the centre. Our private room with a shared bathroom was very basic although large. The view was pretty unique for a hostel though as it’s on the higher floors of a skyscraper. We had some trouble finding in as the entrance to the tower is through a scruffy mall (which has supercheap local eateries). There was no proper breakfast included. Still a good deal for its price range.

This hostel is located on the right bank of the Ishim River in Astana, a minute’s walk from Respublican Prospek. Free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception are featured at Astana Apple Hostel. The bright dormitory rooms offer simple decor, and the shared bathroom amenities are in the hallway. Guests can cook their meals in the shared fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dining area.

Reviewed By Frederik VI speak very little Russian and the very friendly host speaks no English, but she helped me out a lot with my train ticket to Semey, she makes excellent tea and helps me with the cooking. The internet is also very fast. The shower is an adventure, but the water is nice and warm.

Astana Best Hostel - welcome to a cold Astana / Nur-Sultan
Reviewed By Andy WStayed a couple of nights in mid-April. It seemed moderately busy, I had (different) private rooms for my stay. Staff were helpful (some English spoken), e.g. stowing away my backpack after my early morning arrival and before my late evening departure. Location - on bus route 12 (and maybe also 10) that runs from the airport (my arrival point) and Astana-1 train station (my departure point). Building work on the light rail means that the hostel is not visible from the main road - I needed to ask. Khan Shatyr is 5-10 minutes walk away, the spread-out central attractions 15+ minutes.

Хостел располагается на левом берегу Астаны, в 15 минутах ходьбы от Байтерека и в 10 минутах от Хан Шатыра на проспекте Кабанбай батыра. Имеет женскую 6 койко-местную комнату и общую 10 койко-местную комнату. А также приватный двухместный номер с 1 кроватью и кондиционером. В хостеле 3 санузла и 2 ванной комнаты. Больше всего мне в хостеле понравился панорамный вид из общей комнаты и вкусный завтрак. Удобные и длинные кровати. Свежая постель. Большая кухня с посудомоечной машиной для ленивых. Бесплатный вайфай. Персонал вежливый. Из минусов: вредные соседи которые также проживают в этом подъезде. 3 этаж без лифта. Нет дивана, только миниатюрная скамейка. Было бы хорошо иметь еще чистую бутылированную воду.
