Reviewed By HeyCakes15I’m in love with this place. Everything about it was picturesque. Everything was perfect. The view from our sweet was breathtaking at every single moment of the day. It’s hard to leave the room with its comfort and views, but when you do leave, it’s equally as mesmerizing and breathtaking from the suite. Brightly colored and incredibly clean, this boutique really knows how to host impeccably. We can not wait to visit again with our daughter. True, it’s located on a steep hill, but it really is the best steep hill in all of Puerto Vallarta. It’s just a quick walk to to any location you want to go and a 15 minute taxi ride to and from the airport. Loved every detail about our stay.

Amapas Apartments offers studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments de 1 y 2. We are located steps from “Los Muertos” New Pier and beach, in Puerto Vallarta’s Romantic Zone. Also known as “Old Vallarta”, this area has many restaurants, art galleries and bars, being one of the most attractive neighborhoods of the region. Vallarta’s Malecón is about 8 minutes by foot and our International Airport about 30 minutos. Amapas Apartments has 17 units, a small pool in our terrace, with ocean and mountain view, concierge and free wifi connection in all units. A well-behaved small dog per unit is allowed.

Close to beach, like real close Best gelato across the street Worth the money, and it wasn’t even a lot of money. Cons: Pillows are soft and bed it firm Some room have balcony’s, others do not AC is in living room and you sleeping far away from that unit Rooftop “pool” is 6x3ft with no water movement. Take that as you wish Would I stay here again, absolutely no questions asked. We walked 20,000 steps a day exploring everywhere. And this location was great! PS the massage place to the right of the entrance avoid at all cost. If we could report it we would. Salud

Shower is not good.
Reviewed By lucianagraficaThe shower was not good. I asked to change rooms but on the 2nd room was the same situation. We definitely can't have a relax shower like that. In another hand, the staff and hotel location are very good.

A lovely small hotel
Reviewed By AndreTorontoA very well equipped small hotel. Compares more than favourably with much higher priced Airbnbs in the area. Large rooms, everything great for a long stay. Washer & dryer in the suite. Pool and huge patio upstairs with nice views. No hair dryer in our suite but we didn't ask the desk if they had one as we were only there for a short stay. No dining facilities. Covid tests right across the road. Front desk very helpful with queries. Terrific location in the Romantic zone. Lots of nearby restaurants.

Reviewed By 845ernestorAmazing staff and cleanliness, would definitely recommend it. Walking distance to convenience stores, pharmacy just across the streets and ideally located in the metropolitan area. Safe neighborhood, also recommend you check out the Beer Garden next to the hotel.

Reviewed By gebroidaDue to unforeseen circumstances I had to depart Puerto Vallarta before I could stay at La Iguana however… I made my booking thru booking.com. When trying to cancel booking.com told me it was the properties decision to refund my money or not. Upon calling La Iguana, they told me that such request was not received and that Booking.com had the money and wouldn’t release it. I decided to go to the property myself and as they were saying and very WILLINGLY trying to cancel my reservation Booking.com wouldn’t give them the option. I was shown by the reception. Long story short, the female owner (I think) and the reception guy went thru hell with Booking.com to actually get me the refund which they DID. I will ALWAYS consider La Iguana Vallarta from here on out. The area is excellent. Zona Romantica. The hosts are HONEST people. They have a super cool “mini market” right up front with great prices and the facilities are great. Thanks to La Iguana Vallarta for resolving this frustrating issue. Wish I could had stayed with them as they seem like great host. Cheers.

Reviewed By hince12The condo we stayed in puerto Vallarta was hosted by Elda,the condo was a 3 bedroom apt , which was equipped with everything we needed, the apt was completely renovated, air condition in every room, 2 large tvs with plenty of movie channels.The only draw back was the pool area any kind of alcohol was not aloud and for the month we stayed their we were only able to ket a chair 3 times, because the regular people there would put their towels early in the morning to reserve a chair for the whole day, for this reason I would not go back there.As far as the condo goes its been the nicest condo we've ever stay in.

Quaint, Quiet Hotel and Easy to Walk to Many Restaurants
Reviewed By Carol HA quiet neighborhood hotel with ample room in the suite. Accommodation was clean with a comfortable king bed, pillows,linen, tv and desk. Our room was 1C and had a small private balcony with 2 chairs. A small fridge, hot plate and a few dishes in the open kitchen/sitting room with a sofa and 2 chairs. The bathroom had a walk-in shower, sink, toilet and towels. The only negative was the darkness of the rooms and not bright lighting from the fixtures. Our 2 night stay was good.

Stolen Watch
Reviewed By LangeTheThirdI paid too much money to have a ~$200 USD watch stolen here. There's no safe deposit box. If you're bringing anything valuable, you may as well try another hotel like Holiday Inn. The hotel will be quick to point out that they are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Don't try to hide your valuables, they need to be on you at all times.

Vallarta Studios are located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, just 50 yards from "Los Muertos Beach" close to everything, you can easily walk to a huge variety of restaurants and stores. enjoy the outside bars and restaurants on olas altas, or stroll to the malecon and downtown which is only one block away.We have 14 STUDIOS available which allows us to give you an excellent service and make you feel right at home.

Reviewed By GBielefe2 small blocks from the bars, 2 small blocks from the gym, 2 small blocks from laundry, 1 small block from the beach. Endless restaurants around. Walking distance to shows. The room is cleaned daily. The room is dated but is clean and has everything you need. The gate to the facility is locked at night. PV is a very safe city and the natives are so friendly. Cabs are always available.
