Dirty and unprofessional

Reviewed By N8190YJsimonk

Firstly I can confirm I have email this complaint to both the park and hoseasons how I book with have not had a response from none of then so no happy at all First the caravan given to us was smelly and really dirty, even sick in the toilet down the radiator, and all smoke alarms disconnected, and smelt of smoke. I have photo to prove, was given second caravan was not much better see photos, and sticky floors myself and the wife spent the first few hours cleaning the caravan ourself. Which ment a late dinner 9pm , eating out every night was not the plan but due to lack of  kitchen accessories didn’t  have much choice after the oven broke £150 not planing on spending, bed broken but in fairness was fixed quickly, then the oven broke so could not use the oven, this was not fixed. waiting ages at the bar for a drink for the first couple of nights so just staying out as late as possible and just sleeping in the caravan Now , arcade machine didn’t work, lost about £4. Each time I went to reception I was told one would deal with it , sorry someone will deal with, I even had enough of the family moaning at me and asked the receptionist for a upgraded accommodation which at that time I offered to pay extra for but was told every caravan was taken ???? can’t wait to go home really a big shame, never had this issue in any caravan centre I have stayed in before , but in fairness never been down Kent before, always Cornwall and Devon and Wales,  so all in all not good at all hope to get some form of refund or some money back as really been let down on this one

Could be so much better

Visited in June, cheap week away after visiting Parkdean in Camber three weeks prior. Park seems to just have a handful of holiday makers and everyone else are owners. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Caravan was clean and a good base. Swimming pool again okay, clean but outdated. No extra activities on-site as there was previously at Camber.. Brochure advertises kids entertainment from 17:30 but absolutely nothing going on, staff say it’s only during peak (six weeks holidays) Entertainment then starts at 19:30 (far too late) and consists of a tv plying dancing and a character popping out for 10 mins. Food in restaurant not great, same menu as Camber where it had been great a few weeks okay but several ingredients and meals missing from menu, meals being served missing parts, all food and drinks were luke warm on numerous visits. Overall an okay stay but would be really annoyed if had paid more that a cheapy Sun break. We wouldn’t return.

We were so pleasantly surprised at the beautifully appointed cabins. We were so comfortable, gorgeous beds and sumptuous bedlinen... Every little detail had been thought of, and we wanted for nothing. The welcome we received was warm and friendly and all the staff we met were so helpful. The atmosphere on the site was comfortable and friendly, the hot tub was great fun. Highly recommend, and would love to return!

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOLIDAY PARK! Disgrace

Reviewed By kellygX9527MN

I can honestly say I would never return to this place again even if I was paid to. Our lodge was disgusting and grimy the floors were sticky the bedsheets was not clean, the hot tub was told it’s not working the pool was freezing & For the non-existent entertainment as well the only entertainment that we had would be after a certain time that would be all the young ones being loud aggressive making noise late around the complex, I can honestly say it didn’t feel like a safe environment and having two young girls I possibly can let them out of my sight because the security well I’m not sure where they was & as for the food was absolutely disgusting completely overpriced, I’m afraid to say we spent most of our time out of the holiday park & lots of time in the pub next door that was very welcoming & dished up lovely eatable food, so please people think before you book here for a break it’s not all what it advertise to be.

Priory Hill Touring Park

Leysdown-on-Sea is a coastal village on the east side of the Isle of Sheppey. It is a traditional seaside town filled with many local shops, fish and chip restaurants and a variety of amusements. Our touring park is located less than half a mile away from the hustle and bustle of Leysdown and is surrounded by coastal parks and Priory Hill holiday homes. Our touring park offers coastal views from many of our pitches. All of our pitches are grass and majority of them offer a 10 amp electricity supply. First class camp site with a great club house and if you don't want to cook great food at a very sensible price. Keep up the grest work. Great fishing lakes should you wish to. Can't fault them at all I'm fact we've been here for a week and have just extended our stay

Take Time Shepherds Huts

The perfect spot to recharge in a beautiful county!

Reviewed By Mitchymoo

As first time 'glampers' we weren't too sure what to expect but we've just returned from 4 nights at Take Time Shepherds Huts and would gladly have stayed longer! We stayed in the Mist Hut and the facilities both in the hut, the cooking area and in our dedicated bathroom 'Skye' were really comfortable, well thought-out and spotless. The outlook and surroundings are beautiful and the hosts Heather and Anne have thought of everything to make the stay here relaxing and enjoyable. The location is ideal for exploring this beautiful county (Canterbury, Leeds Castle, Chapel Down Winery etc). We walked 15 mins to the Barrow House Pub (soon to be renamed again as the George Inn) for dinner in Egerton and were afforded stunning views of the High Weald at sunset. We also had a wonderful meal at the Rose and Crown in Mundy Bois.
