Old Street B & B

We offer a beautiful, grade11 listed property, with a separate guests coach house at rear. Which is Very private and quiet. The coach house consists of 3 en-suite rooms and a wonderful communal lounge for your use and enjoyment. We offer a family room, and 2 double rooms, all of which can be used as singles at reduced rates. The guests dining room is located at the front of the main house, with a very olde English feel to it. Full breakfast options are available and there is 24hr acces to your accommodation. We are very conveniently located just a 1 minute walk from the very centre of upton. Both buildings have recently undergone a full refurbishment and we hope you come and enjoy a wonderful stay with us. Darrell & Rachel.

Exquisite

What a find! The property is expertly run by Darryl who is the perfect host. The rooms are quaint but perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything needed is in the room - together with great wi-fi. The beds are super-comfy. Breakfast is 'to order' the previous evening and cooked freshly for you. Really nothing I can fault here.

Lovely value for money stay

Reviewed By Anne M

Stayed here one night at the end of May on a bed and breakfast basis. Enjoyed our stay, check in was easy, room very good size and really comfortable with spacious en suite. Ate here the night we arrived, order taken promptly and we were served our food quickly and enjoyed it. Breakfast the following morning was good, as was staff service. Only fault for me was pillows far too soft and I’d bought my own which I was glad for.

Friendly staff and ideal stopping point for our journey 'up-north'!

Reviewed By Exeter2010

We stayed here for one night in May for a break in a longer journey. We stayed in room 5, a superior room on the first floor. The room was spacious and comfortable with lots of quirky touches. Our evening meals were generous and tasty as was the breakfast next morning and there was plenty of choice. The staff/management/owners were all very friendly and welcoming. To be picky, we found our room to be a little chilly and there didn’t appear to be any supplementary heating available but to be fair, we didn’t ask. Finally, we were given a choice of the restaurant or ‘Boot Room’ for our evening meal and if we stay again we will choose the restaurant as the ‘Boot Room’ was a bit quiet.

I had only been in to the little bar on the right before, one rainy evening a couple of years back, I couldn’t get out fast enough as it was full of some interesting types. Fast forward to this year, found the main part of the hotel, it’s beautiful and the bar and seating areas were lovely and pretty cost effective. Lovely upstairs function room, will be back

All rooms boast antique Georgian furniture, comfy beds, luxury bathrooms TV and wifi, and tea and coffee making facilities with Royal Worcester crockery. Ideal Location for a City Break

Iysha When booking a place to stay over the weekend I tried to steer clear of your generic hotel and book something with a little character. And I can honestly say Worcesters oldest pub did not disappoint on that front. Chocked full of character it offered a beautifully designed room with all the modern amenities needed for an enjoyable stay! Comfy bed included. We made dinner plans so I can’t comment on the food but I will say that the complimentary picnic basket filled with breakfast items was a lovely touch, plenty for the husband and I to enjoy. It was a pub on a Saturday night so as to be expected we could hear the patrons downstairs after returning from our evening out however this was honestly no issue for me. Reasonably priced, extremely friendly staff and an excellent location. What more could you ask for?! Kyle Location: 10/10 - Plenty of restaurants, pubs and attractions right on your doorstep. Across from large multi-story car park where you can get a 20% discount with your stay. Room: 7/10 - Has everything you need although felt a little cramped. Was able to hear chatter outside until late but that comes with staying at a busy pub I guess. May be an issue you're a light sleeper. Staff: 9/10 - Very friendly and accommodating. Drop off a breakfast hamper in the morning. Nice touch
