Reviewed By Safari27803389752We stayed here for two nights using it for a base whilst we did the three stages of the Menalon Trail. The rooms were well equipped, spacious and spotless. Breakfast really set you up for a day walking. The hosts were very helpful, for example helping to arrange Taxi for us. The location is great, easy to get into the village but also good for the trail. The views were beautiful from the balcony. I would happily stay there again.

The mansion is Nikolopoulos guesthouse in the center of Vitina. The rooms are self-contained and large, two of 40sqm and 50sqm of 2 ... HAS HEATING fireplace and kitchen. Large traditional courtyard, Romanticism cleanliness and comfort are the explanations which stand out.

Reviewed By marja vVery good! Our room was charming. With a comfortable couch in front of the fire place. And a good bathroom. The breakfast is the best we had in our month in Greece. It has a lot of home made products and is slightly different every day. We hiked from Nymfasia to Vytina. This is an etappe of the Menalon trail. We enjoyed our hike very much.

Nice & expensive stay in Vytina
Reviewed By Erez2018The Mylaon hotel tends to be a luxury hotel, at least as it is positioned and priced. We stayed there for two nights just after the Covid lockdown was released. Although the hotel is quite nice , it was under staffed, most of the time nobody at the reception. Part of the spa facilities were’nt operational - but the prices were rocket-high , especially for this region. All in all we had a nice stay - but I think the hotel is over rated and over priced. It is not really what you expect from a 5 star hotel , a 4 star would be more realistic.

Reviewed By Despina ADecent room, very close to the village. Walking distance. Parking space available. However, the mattress and the pillows need to be changed. Too hard to sleep on. The staff was very friendly and polite.

A series of unpleasant stays
Reviewed By Konstantinos1003I made my first review on this hotel back in 2018, which was my first stay there and I was very pleased. I have stayed there 2 more times since then and my experiences were quite unpleasant to be honest. I booked this hotel again on September of 2019 for 3 days. Upon my arrival there was noone at the hotel so I called the owner who asked me to go to Vytina and drink a coffee and he would be there in about an hour. 2 hours passed and he hadn't called me, therefore, I did. He told me he would need another hour... Since I had arrived around 16:00 o'clock I completely lost my day waiting for the onwer. The room had quite a few issues, starting with it being not well cleaned and missing shampoo, shower gel and toilet paper. That was kind of settled after i told them about it... At nights it gets quite chilly in the mountains but they wouldn't open the radiator and when i asked the owner if it would be possible his response was "It is not that cold, I can give you an extra blanket..." The worst thing is that they had a group of people staying for a couple of days and the owner asked me to go stay in another hotel for my 3rd day because he had done a mistake and double booked my room! So he made me pack all my stuff, he booked me another hotel nearby and he didn't even offer to compensate it for all the trouble me made me go through. I decided to give them another chance so we booked 2 rooms (me and my wife and another couple) on November of 2019 and upon arrival we had issues with the room again. It was not that clean, there were spider webs in the bathroom, only 2 small bottles of shampoo and no shower gel, no hand soap nor toilet paper. When we asked for all the bathroom amenities they didn't have any to provide us... On the next day the gave us some random shampoos and shower gels which were like lost and found ones. The other couple had the exact same issues and were quite unhappy about their stay. Since the location of the hotel is amazing I said to myself "I'll give this hotel one last chance" and so I did. I booked the hotel again for me and my wife for a couple of days for my birthday on October 2020. The day prior to our check-in, the owner calls me at 22:30 (!) to inform me, like it's not a big deal, that he wouldn't be able to make it! And that was the last time I ever thought of going back there. The hotel has INSANE potential but the owner just doesn't care. He treats it like it's his vacation home, where he can also accommodate some people who shouldn't ask for too much, although they are paying for their stay. If it was like a hostel for 10,00€ per night that would be a quite good deal, but it is not.

Είναι πολύ δυσάρεστο να έχεις συμφωνήσει άλλη τιμή και στο check out να απαιτεί 20 € επιπλέον για 4 διανυκτερεύσεις. Στην προσπάθεια της να το δικαιολογήσει επικαλέστηκε ότι υπάρχει χρέωση για τα ξύλα για το τζάκι, κάτι που δεν είχε αναφερθεί εννοείτε όταν συμφωνήσαμε. Πολύ κρίμα, δεν θα συνιστούσα το Μελίβοια στην Βυτίνα σε κανένα γνωστό μου που θέλει να μείνει στην περιοχή.
