Yr Hen Farcdy is a beautiful semi-detached cottage situated in the foothills of the Rhinogs,at the end of a gated track. In a private section of the cottage the rooms have views over the lovely garden,surrounding countryside and ancient oak woodland. If you are looking for a quiet, friendly retreat with clear star lit skies, well placed comfortable accommodation and great food , look no further!

We loved all of the thoughtful little touches and Sue and Mike went up and beyond making us feel so welcome. Fab full English breakfast too. Highly recommended and we will be definitely booking again. Thank you Sue and Mike for being fantastic hosts.

Estuary Lodge is a family run guesthouse set in Snowdonia National Park. It has 8 large elegant en suite rooms, all of which are located on the ground floor and offers free parking outside the rooms and free Wi-Fi. Each room is individually decorated and is clean, warm and very welcoming. They all have a large TV, a work desk, tea/coffee facilities plus a fridge and microwave. Breakfast consists of selection of choices on the buffet table, as well as an extensive choice of Cooked Breakfasts options on the menu. Approximately 4 miles North of Harlech, Estuary Lodge is in the ideal location to reach Portmeirion, Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways, Harlech Castle & Beach plus many more local attractions. The Guesthouse is also centrally placed for exploring Snowdonia’s beautiful mountains and coast.

A really nice place with lovely staff that couldn’t do enough for you,close to Porthmadog,5 minutes,portmeirion even closer,a lovely breakfast awaits too,not the normal rubbish you get at chain hotels,the owners put their hart and soul into this place and it shows,the rooms have parking right outside,the rooms are a decent size and clean! My advice stay here!you won’t be disappointed.

Reviewed By Keith AMade to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, to the time we left. Spacious room, , v good nights sleep. Lovely en-suite, shower. Plenty of milk, coffee, tea etc, ( not the usual 2 x tea bags , milk etc ) Lovely location, short drive to the beach. Where at times we were the only persons visible. Left, having had a hearty breakfast, which made the stay even more worth while. Catered for my wife’s gluten free needs.

Reviewed By bart917We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Awel Y Mynydd. We had a fantastic stay. The room was clean and had every facility you needed. The tea and biscuits and cake was a nice touch when arriving from a busy day out. The breakfasts were amazing and so filling, that we didn’t eat again until the evening. Nothing was too much trouble for Eirwen. Barry was also so helpful with the info he gave us on the surrounding area. We would highly recommend this accommodation and would not stay anywhere else if we visit the area again. We especially had a huge soft spot for Monty. ?
