The owners, Matteo and his family are very nice people and always ready to help:) the room was beautiful, cleaned every day, the breakfasts always fresh and tasty, fruit and croissants and home made cakes, served on a sunny terrace. Great place, great staff and great owners :)

A pleasant surprise
Reviewed By AnyanaWe accidentally came here (another booking was cancelled due to family matters and the hosts sent us here), and based on photos and design we probably wouldnt have picked this place ourselves. But we were happy with our surprise stay. The B&B is situated in the middle of olive orchards, with great views even to the sea. Everthing is very well mantained, nice and welcoming owners, a really great breakfast, nice swimmingpool. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable. And we had a great roof terrace with views all over the area as bonus!

Mark was helpful with suggestions where to ear and which beaches to go to. Would come back without hesitation.

A wonderful place by the sea
Reviewed By Pascal TLa Brezza Marina is the perfect place to spend a few relaxing days. The B&B is managed by Luca, sometime helped by his parents Massimo and Pina who made us feel welcome and almost at home right from the start. We had a very comfortable room, the Anemone, which was the smallest they had but maybe the cutest. It was a bit apart from the house which made it very quiet, perfect for an afternoon nap waiting for the temperatures to go down a little. The breakfast were pretty good, fresh fruits, god pastries and Italian coffee. The Beach is a five minute walk from the house but the furthest you go, the prettier thy get. From markets, pharmacy to trattorie and not forgetting gelatoria you have everything you might look for. The only downside is that we don't know when we'll be able to go there again.

Excellent holiday home for families
Reviewed By Marco BI have just spent a couple of weeks at Le Fanciulle with the family, and we were absolutely enthousiastic about the place and the warm family welcome from Mr. Francesco and his wife, who we found to be very nice an pleasant folks. We stayed at the villa La Carusa, which is across the road from the B&B. Breakfast was not included, although the landlady kindly prepared anyway for us a couple of delicious cakes ("crostata"). The villa is brand new, very spacious, confortably furnished and tastefully decorated. The weather this year was often uncharacteristically overcast, but even in full sunlight the interior was cool and we did not really have to use the aircon. We were kindly offered the use of the vegetable patch and we could help ourselves with fantastic basil, tomatoes and figs (the latter, in particular, grow spontaneously all around the place - unbelievable!). The garden surrounding the villa is rather large so that the surrouding houses are relatively far, and overall we found the place to be very, very quiet (this was a pleasant surprise, since we stayed in Salento in August some time ago and we remarked the fondness of many local clubs for high volume disco music throughout the night). No problem even for small kids to play there. The beach of Pescoluse, which is ok, can be reached in 10-15 min on foot (we walk slowly). We preferred to get the car, drive 3 min and get a little further to a slightly larger one. In any case, within a few minutes in either direction there are kilometers of fantastic beaches with crystalline water, either fully sandy, or fully rocky, or any mixture you may like in between. In july we found the crowding to be quite bearable, with the beaches less than half full. I've been told than in August the situation is much different. The water is very shallow (in certain places it looks like it is 1.5 m deep at 100 m from the beach) and we found it perfect to let the kids play safely. Overall, we liked Salento very much. While being slowly built up, it still remains quite sparsely occupied and we felt very much in contact with the nature. The general look, compared to other popular seaside areas in Italy, is still quite rough and unsophisticated which is precisely what I look for on Holiday. The quality of the food is very high, especially the fish, fruits and vegetables. With the exception of a few clearly recognizable "tourist trap" restaurants and shops, the cost of eating out and shopping for food is still quite low compared to northern italy (extremely low compared to the rest of europe) To conclude: highly recommended

A brand new Hotel - opened in June 2018. Three superior stars. Near the beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear sea. Restaurant service. Sound, modern rooms with home automation system. Near Santa Maria di Leuca, excellent starting point for Gallipoli, Lecce, Otranto.

Reviewed By JK_BarRoomQueenWe loved this hotel with its large rooms, brand new fittings and proximity to a perfect beach. The rooms on the first floor have balconies. Everything is high tech, the blinds can be operated from the bed. We stayed 3 nights and will definitely be back. There are 2 or 3 restaurants nearby and also a beach club, but the public beach is great too and has loungers and umbrellas for rent. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.
